these things upset me.

• people who are too vocal about their beliefs. this is mostly people whose beliefs differ from mine, honestly. i despise the people who stand on the street corner with signs proclaiming that homosexuals are going to hell and abortion kills babies but you know, even people who are overly liberal bother me. your beliefs are yours, not everybody needs to know them.
• people who can't have fun without drinking. it bothers me so much, especially when they're perfectly likable people when they're sober. there's no reason you need to get completely inebriated before spending time with me. i'll probably actually spend like five minutes with you and then leave.
• animal abuse. i have three cats adopted from the animal shelter, and two of them were severely abused. these are the best cats i've ever seen -- they're cuddly, well-behaved, beautiful creatures who did not at all deserve anything that was done to them. no animal, no matter how out of control, deserves to be abused.
• when girls get all flirty with my boyfriend. i don't care if it's one of my friends who's had a little too much to drink, if it's his lab partner using "study time" as an excuse to pretend she doesn't know what's going on, or some random girl on the street eying him up. he is my boyfriend and he doesn't like you and you should really just leave.
