- 01 - monday!! what did i do? peer reviewed in eng and painted in art. ended up leaving with my dad at 11 30 to meet two clients; one in kirkland and the other in sammamish. the lady in sammamish had a pretty lakeside house though. it was really tiring. we got done a little after 1, and he dropped me off at the school so i could sit in on the ceramics class and watercolor. picked up my little sisters and then passed out at 7. woke up at 10, and stayed up all night to "work on my speech." read a lot of fic and played candy crush and ate and yt; didn't get started until like 4 30, but i got it done!
- 02 - ^ finished speech, got ready for school. presented my speech to the class with a powerpoint i threw together and it was good! best presentation of my class tbh. the others kind of sucked. had a sub in art and came home. sat in during ceramics again and dropped by eng after school to turn in a hardcover of my project. helped ms. o with some filing too before picking up my sisters. i ended up falling asleep at 5 while my sisters were playing in my room. didn't get up until 7 the next day, though i did wake up briefly a couple times.
- 03 - woke up at 7. skipped showering and went to art class. killed time before i picked up my little sisters. painted a little with the kids before retreating to my room.
- 04 - went to bed at 4 and woke up at 8. had a socratic seminar in eng and then sat in art during lunch, and then her 5th period adv art class. kat, one of quincy's friends, kept me company. 2/3 of my painting is done!! messed up on one part and it's unfixable but w/e. took the bus at 4 and got cancelled on last minute but made the best of it and went to factoria instead of chinatown. made it just in time for a movie, then went leisure shopping at target for over an hour. then ate at panda express with a book. took the bus home and got back close to 9 30. basically had a 5+ hr date with myself~
- 05 - my april has been good so far. really good. i got assignments done and went out and made art. i finally finished my watercolor painting today and it turned out pretty good. a lot of people complimented it while i was still working on it, and the few that saw it today said it was lovely. ms. ogimachi also told me that my poem made it to the next round of the competition from ages ago. now it'll be sent off to meet up with poems from other districts before the panel meets up on april 20th to decide who the winner will be. mine is one in the four from this district. i should feel good. but i really just want to die, or be dead. / picked up little sisters and took the bus to bell square instead of going home. ate at red robin, and then went to the bellevue art museum since they have free admission for the first friday of each month. we spent like 2 hours there, and it was pouring by the time we were out. walked to the bus station, and walked home.
- 06 - uh went to sleep pretty early and woke up at 9. stayed in bed most of the day, and the rest of the family went to a party after my mum got home from work. that's when i tidied up, remade my bed, and vacuumed. actually worked up a sweat cleaning, and then took a bubble bath. i got a nosebleed while showering afterwards and didn't notice until i got out. yeah. ate and watched running man.
- 07 - talked to quincy for a little while; he's in spain! then brushed my teeth and was planning on sleeping around 2 but it's 4 30 and idk what i'm doing with my life. / slept at 5, woke up at 9 and had a maybe day. stayed in bed until 10 48 weighing the pros and cons of going out. skipped going out for pho with the family and. it was just a really bad morning. got to chua half an hour late, gave dennis a cyanide & happiness book and yeah. the day was okay. nice and rainy. didn't do anything special. auntie drove us home 'cause the car battery died again. i made ramen. watched wgm. yeah. got an instagram. i'm tired. i keep thinking about how i shouldn't get my hopes up for the poetry contest but. i still want to win, no matter how stupidly unlikely it is. there's a thousand dollar prize :(
- 08 - woke up around 9, ate pho in the morning. found out about the extra concert tickets through fb around 2 and yeah. watched some shows before starting to get ready. dad dropped me off at eastgate p&r around 6, and i bused down. waited in line for an hour+. stood around for another hour before the opening band come on and they sucked. the airborne toxic event got on around 10, so it was like 3+ hours of waiting leading up to that moment. but so greaaat. they played all of my favorite songs and during the second song, the lead singer, mikel, came down into the crowd and jumped around with us lol. yeah. great set and show, which ended around 11 30. mikel stayed behind to sign stuff. other people were like handing up shirts and albums but i didn't have anything else with me, and he still gave me the sweetest smile while handing back my ticket ;; enjoyed the empty seattle streets and night air while walking to the tunnel entrance.
- 09 - so yeah, david would've picked me up had i told him i was planning on walking but i like walking at night and i've always been kind of a masochist so. i didn't tell him. talked with him while cleaning and putting away his clothes. it made a huge difference, and then we sat in his living room (he has the whole lower floor to himself) and had the tv on while we talked. ended up sitting thigh by thigh with me kind of leaning on him while talking, which is kind of unusual for us. he looked wiped out but wouldn't go to sleep. he finally gave in at 4 30. there was a good night hug. i woke up at 7, and left 15 mins after while he was half asleep. got home close to 9. parents left for work, i went to sleep at 12, and didn't wake up until 5. then internet.
- 10 - updating my listo at 4 30 after watching a show where dbsk guested and my dbsk feels are out of the ballpark rn. didn't even realise it was so late though, or i would marathon more shows. / slept at 5 woke up when??
- 11 - uh i didn't watch a lot of shows this day so that means i did something but idk what. memory is a funny thing.
- 12 - slept sometime around 9?? idk. woke up at 2(??), showered, took the bus w/ sisters to crossroads. went to half priced books and got bubble tea before getting dvds at the library. came home and watched stuff before i got tired and went online.
- 13 - music core at midnight. slept sometime around 7, got up at noon and left with dad and the sisters shortly after. met up with the client, then got dropped off at my mum's work. spent an hour setting up new phones for her, before walking to the nearby 7-11 for snacks to eat at the library. got a ton of dvds and took the bus home in the rain. it was tiring.
- 14 - didn't sleep. got up at 8 to go driving, then got ready for chua. got there at 10 for a lion dance photoshoot but we didn't even take a lot of pics, and that didn't start until after 11. didn't eat breakfast so i was tired and hungry. left early and got home a little after 3. passed out around 4?
- 15 - woke up at 2 and remembered a truly horrible dream. only figures that the first dream i've remembered in months is a bad one. / got new seats in eng and i like the location but dislike the people i'm around. the girl in front of me has bad bo and thinks using force against children is okay. didn't start painting yet.
- 16 - got a brownie in eng, printed off coloring pages in art b/c i already finished the lab assignment yesterday. yeah. picked up kids, didn't do much.
- 17 - shower skip wednesday, did presentations in art. looked at some landscape examples and we might actually start painting friday? thought of a new project to start but need to gather some references. watched some shows, yeah.
- 18 - ate and watched dbsk before m countdown started. haven't talked to david, which is good. will have to see how i feel again in a week. been trying to raise the number of views on special girl & without you. that's a lot of work, and i think i'm a really good fan :| / slept around 4, got up at 8. eng was okay-ish. talking about feminist critical lens and yeah not many feminists present for that lesson. really need hobbies. i read a good superman/batman fic though.
- 19 - fell asleep sometime around 4? barely woke up in time for class 'cause phone ran out of battery during the night so no alarm. watched bob ross paint in art; won't be actually painting until tuesday or wednesday, which is disappointing. went home and took a nap until 5. went to see jack frost with the kids at the elementary school at 6. got home, everyone left to go to auntie's house and i ate a lot.
- 20 - heard my mum in the kitchen around 3; went out and helped her cut stuff up so she could make vegetarian spring rolls for chua. went to sleep around 7, woke up at noon. showered and packed some clothes at 3, parents came up at 6 30. i drove to seattle and got stuck in traffic for the first time! the buddhist "retreat" started at 10am but i didn't get there until 7 30 ish. had two lessons before we had a circle talk, which is always great. that went until after 11, then we all basically just hung out. the guys played chess downstairs or talked, and i was upstairs with lynda, giau, vivian, and kathy. me and lynda were really out of control though, omg. endless laughter and she is great. most i've laughed this year. we went downstairs at one point and i played cards with anh duc, anh bao, and henry. everyone got sent to sleep at 1:30.
- 21 - tried to sleep upstairs but giau was snoring and not all the lights turned off. i went downstairs and slept on some chairs because i'm ridiculous. also didn't bring a sleeping back b/c i was taking the bus home. kept waking up since it was cold and uncomfortable. got 3 hrs of sleep before just sitting around and listening to music. went outside and watched the clouds for an hour when it got a little brighter. came back inside and drew pictures around 7, at which point phillip was awake and other people started getting up. had a summarizing q &a, played games, then went bowling. i really sucked but it was not bad. took the bus home after 2, and passed out at 4 ish. woke up at 7. laptop.
- 22 - up until 4. went to eng, skipped art b/c i didn't see the point in going to the lab. passed out an hour after being at home, hit the snooze on my alarm at 2 30, and didn't wake up until isabel called me asking where i was. they walked home alone and i remember opening the door for them and then going back to sleep. idk. got my fly high album though!!! it was only $10 with shipping, which is beyond cheap since most sites sell for at least $12 and then shipping+tax for that is almost as much as the album itself. looking to buy new challenge and paradise from the same seller when i have more money :x
- 23 - slept at 5? mmm. went to classes, hung out in the art room during lunch time and got back my watercolor and still life. ms crubaugh also sent me a scan of my watercolor since she takes pics of all student work, and i fixed something on photoshop that she'd been having problems with all year \o/ dad came home a little before 2 so i went to sleep. woke up 'round 6 and didn't do much.
- 24 - slept after 4, woke up at 8. showered even though it was wednesday :( started painting in art~ uh. picked some flowers while walking home with the sisters, and first time trying to press a flower in a book. will have to see how it turns out in may. :x
- 25 - slept after 4 again. picked up sisters, and headed off to meet a client with dad at 4 30. was done around 6, and ate sushi with him and the sisters. dropped by my mum's work to say hi and then went home. went to sleep at 10!!! \o/
- 26 - woke up a couple times to make sure all the tabs i had of the playlist i use to play special girl and without you were still going b/c trying to raise view counts. but got up at 7? rushed to eng only to find out there was an assembly so sat around and wrote for a little. shortened classes though. hung out in the art room until 1 30. picked up sisters and gave isabel a sketchbook so we decorated covers together. mindy drew some leaves and her hands.
- 27 - stayed up til idk, woke up to an empty house around noon. was on the laptop ~all day~. mum and dad came home at one point and then left again to go to my grandma's. uh i made food and watched a lot of shows it was great.
- 28 - ate dim sum in the morning, didn't get to drive since mindy and mum went to seattle too. went to chua. had a really chill day?? it started off bad though. had a lion dance seminar thing (monthly meetings since we don't have practice anymore) and that ended at 6 30. there was cake and wow i ate a ton of licorice throughout the day. came home and ate idk. ordered ten 9 x 6 sketchbooks :x
- 29 - classes... picked up the kids. oh i actually did stuff. went home with the kids first. ate while watching ice age with them, and then we went to crossroads for bubble tea and to pick up some dvds i had on hold. went to qfc for snacks, then picked up the bus (in the rain. it always rains when i take the bus with them) to go to the lake hills library. had the kids do hw there and gave them computer time. got picked up at 8, and watched a movie while eating dinner with the parents.
- 30 - went to sleep late, woke up and went to school but there was a fire drill going on so i just kind of sat around until the alarms turned off. had class, stayed after in art until 12 30. started painting on the actual canvas and wow how did i ever do landscapes before. watched some stuff before napping. sisters walked home by themselves b/c i didn't want to miss the fedex guy. got up at 4 and watched sabrina with the kids. sketchbooks came after 6!!! i gave one to mindy and she's only 5 but i hope she takes care of it. isabel got one too and now there's a box of 7 sitting in my room. there was drawing time and they went to sleep close to 10. wanted to send a pic to myself so i went on gmail and saw the email from ms o saying that i was one of the winners for the poetry competition!!! wow. not the grand prize winner of 1k but $500 prize sjkgffdkjg. mind blown. gonna call rick smith in the morning and get details about the poetry reading event and ;___; really great way to end april, and hoping that it's setting the stage for may.
