- (31 - new year's eve was spent running around w/ sisters. went to macy's to return stuff and check out the jacket i wanted. went to eat at cafe ori after, followed by dessert at facing east restaurant. came home to finish up the shaved ice while watching 1N2D. went to safeway close to midnight to buy stuff and deposit money. parents were at a party).
- 01 - at midnight, i was sitting in the kitchen kool-aid dyeing the tips of my hair a dark reddish-purple. in the morning i went to eat dim sum with family minus isabel. dropped dad off at home since he had to work for a couple hrs and picked up isabel. rest of the day was a girl's day out ish? shopping and nails and food.
- 02 - friday. woke up kinda early 'cause i was expecting ha. she was an hr late and came over around 1040. we went to play tennis for two hours and jogged for 15 mins ahah. went back to my house for showers and then went on the journey to pick lots of people up. she drove to quynh's, quynh drove to pick up vivian and lilian, followed by minh. met up with all the others at chua. traded minh for hiep to be in the car bc giau likes minh and she was in kathy t's car. drove all the way to lynnwood (40 mins) to eat kbbq. sat next to khanh and dennis <3 <3 but mostly talking w/ kathy v, dennis, giau, and minh bc table arrangements. we ended up staying there longer to eat while the other table (khanh, vivian, ha, quynh, kathy t, lynda, and hiep) went ahead to get the karaoke room. karaoke was right next to it and lots of fun too even though i can't sing or dance. screaming along to linkin park's in the end w/ minh was my favorite. dennis and kathy singing and dancing to teenage dream was a close second. went to get froyo after and chilled at kathy t's house for a little while before driving back. dropped lilian and vi off since it was like 11. quynh and hiep went to quynh's house first to set up while me and ha went to pick up giau, minh, dennis, and kathy v from chua. stopped by safeway for salsa then back to quynh's to watch the other woman. david dropped by like halfway through the movie. rest of the time was spent on youtube and talking.
- 03 - wrapped up the party around 3 since almost everyone had plans at 9 or 10. david drove minh home while me and ha dropped off giau and hiep first, then kathy v in tukwila, and dennis in west seattle. she dropped me off back in redmond at like 440!! wow. got 2.5hrs of sleep then got up at 8 to get ready for hiking with my cousin and two of her friends. drove to north bend and the 4 mile hike and view was so amazing it was worth the lack of sleep. they drove me back to redmond after and we ate at racha before i got dropped off at home. managed to stay up for another three hours before crashing and sleeping for 10 hrs.
- 04 - woke up at 6 and everything hurts. arms from tennis and now legs from hiking blah. ended up skipping chua and lion dance practice.

- 08 - went to sears to return a coat then met up w tam at macy's to buy the michael kors jacket i've been dying to have. originally $150 but we had $73 dollars from xmas gifts and my cousin works there so discount!! yeah. it's so cute T_T shopped at vs after too and got more stuff... tam left for work at 1145 and i went to my interview at the body shop (also at the mall). i thought it went well since it took so long but they didn't call me back so. went home after and watched roommate and took a short nap before driving 40 mins to issaquah for my interview at thai ginger. they hired me on the spot and i went home w paperwork. went out with tam and my cousin around 8.
- 09 - i did my laundry and randomly added bleach bc i didn't know. resulted in 5 ruined pants, two of which were my fave black tights huhu. all my tshirts survived though! first day at work. worked only 5 hrs (4 til 9) but it flew by and i was so tired. busy friday night but it's cool, working in a new environment and learning. my boss goes by bunny and there's one other server named jen. she trained me kind of. the kitchen people are super nice even though we can't communicate well since i don't speak thai.
- 10 - had a food cheat day and ordered dumplings and tofu soup and spicy pork to go from my fave korean place. got some food for the kids too since parents didn't cook much. so yeah. that was brunch that made me full for the rest of the day. got ready for work at 2 and was on the clock at 3. since it was only me and bunny as servers today, she split the tip money w me even though newbies don't usually get anything until after a 2 week orientation period ;; it was nice and slow since there was the seahawks game on today. chefs were really nice offering to cook me something all the time even though i was so full. caved and ordered pad thai and then before we closed they made me another dish to take home ahh. trying to learn some thai phrases to impress them hehe. long commute home but i felt so good i was singing along to the radio the entire half hour. nice to be working at a place where everyone cares about you. bunny asked me to work tmrrw. planned to go on a 7 mile hike w minh and quynh but we're rescheduling bc i'm bad at saying no and money u_u

- 15 - k. when i work in the morning though it's at microsoft locations where they have a food court. met kenny and panpan, who are the other main workers that do that. like five days a week mon-fri. yeah. pretty easy stuff. spooning food and cleaning.

- 19 - my day off!!!!! i don't remember what i did with it though. probably lots of nothing.
- 20 - uh me and quincy were snappchatting one of these days and got to talking about this roadtrip he's taking and he invited me along and i'm really thinking that i'm going to go with him.
- 21 - it'll be two months all over the US. like a big oval ish. skipping the boring states in the middle but yeah. if i go it'll be like san fran chicago new york and tons of others so.
- 22 - when will i get another chance like this right? i wouldn't even have to consider it if i didn't have a good job. maybe they will rehire me when i come back. if they don't find someone better while i'm gone. also. parents. bills. lots of alone time with a guy.
- 23 - he said he's paying for all the gas though since he's taking the roadtrip with or without me so i would only have to worry about food and that's so great?
- 24 - the plan is march 23rd so i'm just going to save up and see how it goes. there are always other jobs and time to work later on. traveling is one of the only reasons i work anyway right? i shouldn't pass this up.
- 25 - junho's birthday!
- 26 - was just gonna go in for a meeting thing but bunny had something to do so i ended up working a shift? idk.
- 27 - got all of my permits though so now tips are being split evenly instead of here's some money nhi.
- 28 - i cry in my car a lot before driving home after work bc even though the job is not bad i feel really stressed anyway.
- 29 - so. went to work in the morning at the microsoft location in issaquah. was talking to varee in the car on the ride home and she asked about my mom so somehow we ended up in redmond so her and kat could get their nails done at my mom's shop. yes. was there til 430 then went home and showered before meeting up with quincy at crossroads for ice cream and talking. hung out with him until close to 9 then stopped by cousin's to pay her back for the coat she bought for me. followed up by going to ha's. went to red robin and talking until they closed at 11. then went to tapioca express until they closed too at midnight. yes.
- 30 - all i do is work really.
- 31 - now i have something to save for though.
