- 01 - talked to keyah until 3? went to sleep at 6, woke up briefly at 7, and then at 8 by david and ha messaging me. talked to david until we both went to get ready at 9 40. picnic a little before 12, placed 1st or 2nd in most of the games with my team (was team leader). ate 4 pieces of watermelon, some chips, and brought home chocolate covered cookies. spent the half hour of free time we got before the picnic ended talking to david. picnic ended at 5. slept in the car and slept when i got home.
- 02 - woke up at 5 'cause of mindy's nosebleed. talked to keyah before showering and going to noble court. messaged with david while not really eating. dad had to pick up some stuff on our way back so there was that. was home alone, went to play tennis for 90 mins and everyone was eating dinner when i got back. deactivated fb.
- 03 - didn't get any planned phone calls done and watched a lot of running man. cried at one point, read some manga. slept pretty early? unfollowed a lot of people on instagram and deleted 1/2+ pics.
- 04 - 2pm's anniver5ary. still crying about it, they mean the world. made a phone call, submitted my bc application + paid the $34 fee. went to the library to print off study materials and the sprint phone bill. gotta call tmrrw. ate dinner while watching scooby doo with mindy.
- 05 - didn't make that phone call. don't think i left the house, can't really remember. watched scooby doo again? there was a thunder storm at night and i saw some lightning outside before it started raining like crazy so i tried to watch it by my window for close to an hour but barely saw anything.
- 06 - still haven't made that phone call. got my ID number, which was the same as before so i could've actually taken my test earlier; kind of bitter about that but i guess now i have more time to get ready. w/e. played tennis for 40 mins after isabel came home, picked up mindy from the bus stop right after. went driving with dad for an hour. thinking of taking the test on weds.
- 07 - uh took a nap at 1 until 7. woke up with the family at grandma's so i made food and watched exo and texted idk. everyone came home at 11 and got yelled at right away. that was great.
- 08 - didn't sleep and ended up playing tennis with a wall for 70 mins at 630. went to chua half an hour early so got an ice cream cone with giau and hiep. minh ended up not coming b/c he overslept, that was disappointing. trung came though since he quit his job. classes started up again. planning on playing tennis after chua next week since we have a lot of players and trung made to varsity tennis wow. somehow managed to not ko until 11 ish.
- 09 - took the test at 12, took two ish hours on that then waited and talked to an adviser for another two. will be taking fye for two days. then daily classes after the 23rd: deviance in society, intro to asian american study, and survey of astronomy. all the eng classes were filled up so math and eng will wait until next quarter.
- 10 - stayed home all day? idk.
- 11 - wish i could just redo this entire day. failed my driving test for backing onto the sidewalk.
- 12 - woke up early smh. walked to the bus stop, got on the wrong bus and had to wait for another one. it took like 2 hrs to get to bc. was right on time at 330 and one of the guys on the bus, zach, ended up in my fye class. class ended 90 mins early at 7 so took the bus to redmond transit center. mum picked me up and the kids tagged along.
- 13 - left earlier to meet up with someone from multicultural services at 230 to talk about financial aid or scholarships but there's really nothing available since i'm doing it so last minute. went to fye after. classes ended at 644 this time since we cut down a lot of the breaks. met a lot of interesting people that i might see around but no lasting relationships. dropped astronomy so might make up for the credits later and in the meantime focus on getting a job. planning on paying all $1210 at once so that's great. have $800 in my savings account (thank you poetry contest) but will have to ask my parents for $460 since i have to get one book too.
- 14 - didn't do my fafsa or resume. woke up at 11 and was in bed, on yt until 5 30. then read fic. feeling like an especially horrible person bc i told my parents i'm going out to play tennis tmrrw so they cancelled their concert plans since there would be no one to watch the kids. and then i asked for money and my mom handed me 1200, my dad saying that i should keep my savings. ...i must've been good in my past life because the me that laid in bed all day doesn't deserve that.
- 15 - woke up early, did laundry. left at 11 while it was storming. kept raining on and off throughout the day; ended up not going to play tennis but did go to mcd's with ha since the kids were hungry and i wanted to wait with her until her dad came to pick her up. david gave me a bookmark and the owl thing i posted on instagram. souvenirs from vietnam. minh gave me an adventure time lanyard that he got from pax. mom came home with a dress that my auntie got for me, and another from herself. paid for my classes.
- 16 - read fic, watched running man and laid around for a while before falling asleep on the living room floor at 2 30. woke up two hours later. was gonna go to the library but that was a no so did my resume on an online template and at the end they told me i had to pay to download it so that was a ton of bs. read fic into the night.
- 17 - idk, did my resume, started the fafsa. didn't go out. barely two days ago but my days are so dull i don't remember what happened.
- 18 - applied to 6 or 7 jobs the past two days and if i don't find myself happily and suddenly employed by the end of the week... ugh. waiting is the worst. went to the library to print off copies of my resume but i'm going to be redoing it anyway, what a waste of paper. played tennis for half an hour just to get out. also finished my fafsa, just waiting for it to process and to get a pin number.
- 19 - woke up b/c someone called and minh texted at 706. ridiculous.
- 20 - friday...
- 21 - ate dim sum with the fam in the morning. went to michael's after to pick up some stuff for the lantern. got a new memory box but haven't used it yet. made a lotus lantern thing idk.
- 22 - mid-autumn lantern festival. tissue-papered the lantern minh made and lion danced for the kids but that was basically it. was pretty down most of the day. my financial aid crap keeps having problems and it has to be processed by the school in like a week so i'm just really stressed.
- 23 - woke up at 5 and then again at 7 ugh. went to pick up the bus at 9 but it didn't show up after half an hour and i would've been late if i waited any longer so got dad to drive me to bc. got chapstick on the way. both my classes seem interesting enough and one of the girls from asian am studies got on the same bus as me so we talked. need to get a book for deviance in society. got a bagel from starbucks w/ a giftcard since i'm broke and managed to sit around for 2 hours. job interview lasted for 40+ minutes wow. felt good about it though and they said they'll get back to me after a background check. stopped by the library, walked to mum's work, got my nails done, dad picked me up, fixed the cable. it was tam's fault we've only been getting one channel for months b/c she set it up wrong smh.
- 24 - transit center is like 2 mins away from mom's work so she dropped me off at 930. really late bus + slow driver = late to class by 5 mins. took the bus back and walked half an hour to get home by 2 when class ended at 12 20 jeez. sports authority called around 6 30 and seems like i won't actually have to redo my resume for a while, yay.
- 25 - wednesday... classes, home by 2 and did a lot of nothing?? can't rememer.
- 26 - went to the LBGTQ open house with my asian am studies class b/c the teacher wanted to show support. most left to attend their next class but i hung around until the end at 1 30. there were donuts and cookies. took the bus and played dragons with this cute little kid at barnes and noble before going to sports authority at 2 20. read over stuff and they're having trouble with my online registration for my employee number so trying to get that fixed. smh, been having so many problems with official stuff just because the name on my social security card is wrong. went to the library to print off this week's readings, then mom's, and got picked up by dad while walking to pick up a pizza. came home and watched stuff instead of studying.
- 27 - had a quiz in deviance on 3 sections that i read on the bus. had 50 pages of a census to read for asian am studies and ended up not doing it, which was okay b/c we ended up not having that seminar today, yay. walked home, ate while watching RM then picked up mindy from the bus stop. isabel's in seattle practicing a dance for tmrrw and sleeping over at annie's. watched movies with mindy oh yeah.
- 28 - tam ended coming home like at 1 ish idk. went to sleep at 5 and stayed home all day watching movies (benjamin button!!) and doing a lot of nothing. everyone else went out here and there. went to sleep at 7pm wow.
- 29 - woke up at 4 when tam called for me to open the door when she actually had the key. couldn't go back to sleep so cleaned my room for two hours. read some manga then got ready to head out and waited around. drove to seattle while it was raining heavily, scary. it was raining all day. got there at 1, sat around mcd's with kathy, dennis, henry, and giau for an hour. had to wait around while the monks led a ceremony, fell asleep on dennis' shoulder for a little and then sat around some more before performing. killed time with khanh or dennis or both all the way until 8 30. got drenched while walking to the car and now i'm sick and suddenly it's past midnight.
- 30 - how is it already the last day of september? where did this month go? but at the same time, this past week felt like two. almost missed the bus, watched freaks in soc270, nothing new in aas. really easy day but i have a ton of assignments due this week. it was pouring while i was catching the bus and i had an umbrella but calves, socks, and shoes got completely soaked. ran into lien and called my dad to pick me up after i got back to redmond.
