that time when...

• I went to a party. Ended up running along my friends (4 am. aprox) from a group of people that were throwing rocks at us lmao I never ran so fast in my life, I was scared but... I WOULD DO IT AGAIN.
• One time I was with my nephew (he was like 5) and suddenly we saw a light. A pure, white light. It was the most brilliant thing I've seen in my whole life, like... a light out of this world. The light filled the whole room. I couldn't see anything. Not even my nephew, not even the furniture. Nothing. Only that light. It suddenly disappeared and everything went back to normal. My nephew looked at me and say "what... was that?". We still remember it.
• When I was in my first conference at the university and the organizer wouldn't stop making faces and talking badly because "they didn't have time to hear us" and I went full NAAAH BITCH I'M NOT LETTING U DO THIS mode. I took the motherfucking microphone, I looked her in the fucking eye and I said "it's a shame u won't let us end our talk, but can't you stop making faces and talking? thank u" and I continued saying everything I wanted to say. When the talk ended I took the microphone again and I said "thank you all, excuse us but they wouldn't let us talk". My tutor at that time took me outside and he was like "first of all, calm down. second, you did well" haha I still love that man. Ah... en fin... I WAS SO ANGRY that day
• A MOTHERFUCKING PIGEON shat lmao ON ME IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE SCHOOL. It was so embarassing that 1) I said to myself "you can't go lower than this" and I NEVER in my life felt something like shyness again. 2) it was so humilliating that no one mocked me. It was a pretty shitty but positive experience for me.
• I was cleaning, with my mom, a really old piece of furnite (where you put bottles and all that) and we suddenly heard a crash, like... a lot of glasses were crashing. The sound was right there close to our ears, it was impossible that it came from the outside. Maybe it was some kind of energy being released...?
• I was alone at night in the garden. I was looking at the sky and thinking "maybe some alien will appear now" and suddenly I saw a bright spot in the sky. "An airplaine, or maybe a satellite or...?" It was so high in the sky and it's trayectory was weird. Suddenly the bright spot turned back like it was nothing at disappeared.
• when I took the evolutionary psychology exam and I ALMOST fainted while thinking of running away because (and I swear it) I inmediataly saw the exam and my blood pressure WENT FUCKING DOWN, I WANTED TO DIE. I didn't know even one answer. Time passed. I tried to calm down and think "ok, I studied this... ok no, I didn't study this for shit but I must know something...". Long-short-story: I ended up writing about everything I knew and remembered. I took my time to think and arrive to logical answers. I wrote A LOT and didn't even manage to answer one question. I told to myself that I could just... pass. When they gave me the exam back they told me that it was so well written that I deserved the highest score even if I didn't answer all the questions. I WAS IN THE CLOUDS. One of the greatest academic moments of my life.
• I called my dad to come pick me up from a party. After some little time, a car showed up. It was the same as my dad's car. I confidently opened the door and sat down. I was going to say something when the man next to me said "Mauro... is that you?". And no, I wasn't my classmate "Mauro" and Mauro definitely wasn't going to be using a sparky white dress. I looked at the man. I breathed heavily. "Hm... I came to pick my son" the man said. "Oh, yes! Mauro! I'll bring him right now" and I stepped out of the car lmao
