Today I am 22. C.S.Lewis says “Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes, but when you look back everything is different.”. This is how I've felt for most of my life but somehow I would like to understand what is achievable for me and have a say in what becomes different. So here is this list, to make sense of in this next year, until I'm 23.
- ✔ Start a job that you enjoy doing
- Early morning running, at least 3x a week
- ✔ Invest in a camera
- Take up climbing and swimming to do occasionally
- Walk around the city during sunrises
- See 3 concerts live (1/3)
- Write-up your collection of short-stories
- Become (mostly) vegetarian
- Read 25 books (1/25)
- Watch 4 courses of the The Teaching Company
- Spend less time on the computer
- Get your drivers license
- Get translator qualification (online work)
- Donate blood 2-3 times
- ✔ Visit the sea in the winter
- ✔ Do a first-aid life support course
- Knit a scarf
- Enter a writing competition
- Run either a 10k or half-marathon for a cause
- Pay off my loan (one half all paid now)
- ✔ Make time to take care of myself, whether it's every night, every morning, every two days or every week
- ✔ Take a chance on someone
- Make my online photography portfolio
- Experience love, joy, hope, friendship, courage, pride, peace, ease, connection, purpose, humour, inspiration, thrill, empathy.
