• I met someone that taught me how to dance

Every time that I thought I was lost I was scared and felt alone But she came into my life Unexpectedly and unknowingly Her love fell upon me Like a rush of a waterfall that refused to stop.

  • At times I would get distant or angry

At myself because I couldn't learn the steps correctly I'd miss a step, I'd turn the wrong way I'd trample on her feet I tried to pull out but every time I stepped out She took a step with me And again I'd try to step out Again, she would follow me out I'd step out once more But still, she stepped with me. I thought, wouldn't she give up on someone as pathetic as me by now? But every time, I began to find out As many steps as I took, Until the dance became a square of turns She was with me in every step

  • It no longer was hard for me to see

How to fit a square into a circle Because I realized her patience with me Was everlasting And I was so glad that she found it in herself To love someone like me And inside my heart, although I couldn't say it out loud I repeated again and again Like the toll of a striking clock (?) Thank you, thank you, thank you For not giving up on me And for believing in me

  • I don't have much to give you

In fact, I'm still going to make mistakes in this dance But I wanted to let her know That I'd really like to spend my whole life Dancing this dance with her And only her I'm doing the only logical thing that comes to mind I'm asking her to marry me Because after all this time She was the one that I've loved.
