this is a list of things a lot of nu-hippies put on their sites to seem knowledgeable, and therefore, highly pretentious. i am saddened that some of these things coincide with my site, but that's life.

• writing in french
• wanting a british accent
• favorite stores consisting of urban outfitters and godforsaken thrift stores
• thousands of lomography photos
• only listing indie movies as favorites
• placing kafka or dickens or balzac in between fucking twilight in the 'favorite books' section
• putting. periods. after. everything.
• listing various cities in france and austria one wants to visit
• writing out the full name of lipstick, nail polish, et al.
• peace, hippies, and free sex
• self-abasement and insisting one is very awkward
• obsessions with the beatles, particularly after watching 'across the universe'
