random things i remember from when i was twelve and under.

• sleeping between my parents and staring at the smoke alarm until it faded into black.
• knocking on the bedroom wall for mom when my tv turned off but i hadn't fallen asleep yet.
• listening to nature sound cds that mom thought i liked to listen to before bed but i was actually scared of.
• pretending i was a fairy from winx club and jumping off the end of my parents' bed to 'fly'
• dad helping me set up this on the carpeted floor of my bedroom.
• getting a black bunny from the sunday market with my dad and grandma.
• said bunny pooping on my hello kitty sheets and me crying to get rid of it lol..
• listening to a britney spears cd on the tv and standing on my parents' bed to reach the headboard i used as a table for my white board i wrote the lyrics on.
• having auntie record some pokemon special on her dvr so i could watch it later? idk i just remember piplup being there. what's weird is i didn't watch pokemon after that.
• my 5~8ish yr old bedtime scenarios: i'm in winx club, i'm in code lyoko, i'm entering my closet and transporting into a different world.
• listening to the bratz rock angelz soundtrack alone in auntie's room on her fancy 5 disc cd player.
• winx club and tokyo mew mew transformation videos on youtube to cascada.
• listening to music in the back of dad's van on a cd player with those hard plastic headphones covered in flimsy foam.
• downloading kpop and vocaloid songs on the family computer to transfer to my mp3 player. i didn't yet have a phone.
• listening to meltdown and butterfly on your right shoulder on said mp3 player alone in the room i "shared" with my sister at night. the start of my depression spiral istg.
• getting taro or honeydew milk tea with lychee jelly at lollicup and crawling into the backseat of grandpa's van.
• my spot in the van on family outings period. i always shared the backseat with auntie, left side.
