- basically has the same general backstory as Angeal up to the whole Genesis incident
- that's what i'm calling that
- really pissed about both her brother and best friend being all fighty so she took a leap of faith that ended badly
- as in she intentionally jumped into what would end up being a really long fall and would probably kill a normal human
- like she did intend to die bc she thought it would make the fighting stop
- everyone involved did think she died except hojo
- hojo found her in a coma and proceeded to do all the experiments
- woken by cloud during the raid on shinra to save aerisu (that's how i'm gonna get around the name spelling controversy hardy har har)
- thrown into a cell because of course
- found by sephiroth later during his murderous rampage and given the choice to come with him and of course she said yes that's her last living friend as far as she knows
- ended up living in tifa's bar for a while after the fact
- when the remnants rolled around she hung out with them because sephiroth
- and she was trying more than anything to help sephiroth, making her a villainess
- genesis also showed up around then and she was SUPER pissed at him because to her, all of the planet's problems can be traced back to him, including sephiroth
- kind of started dating kadaj (@saevamare) a little but that didn't go well
- what did she expect anyway
- the little shit is LITERALLY THE EMBODIMENT OF SEPHIROTH'S INSANITY
- anyway what happened between them pretty much broke her mentally because she'd lost everything and had no one to help her
- went back to the bar as a depressed, moody teenager in demeanor
- slowly lost the ability to feel both emotion and pain because of the soul thing
- gen found her and they sort of reconciled a little and did la danse du lit
- sadly or maybe not, sephiroth did a thing and now she's the meek mute named blossom and she likes helping people
- won't last forever tho
- eventually she got back to normal and found gen again
- they got married
- angela born a bit later
- gen of course is a gentleman and thought it'd be good for his precious waifu to live in her hometown again so he built the family a house there and it's all peaceful
- except sometime when angela is ten guess who shows up
- ARDYN
- and he takes miggs away for reasons only he and i know and they're secret for now

- doesn't really matter what she's wearing so haha
- genesis (@GingerGenesisR) is her husband. not that she feels any love for him at this point. she's willing to cook and clean the house and she'll sort of relax when he's doing the LOVELESS thing, but mostly she's a doll.
- so here's my own little quandrary though
- i had it set so that miggs would end up travelling with the chocobros and trying to make mechanical wings for herself because she lost her jenova cells at some point and really misses flying
- but that was all the result of a foregone plotline where she has Sephiroth almost kill her but not quite
- and she sort of goes all Walking the Earth mode to find herself or whatever
- clearly that didn't happen
- but the thing is, it would've given hewlette a reason to be alive again way before ardyn finds miggs
- because of a soul wanting to be whole again
- but now it's all sort of fucked
- so maybe bahamut just decided hewlette was needed??? idk
