Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Directed by Tim Miller, Deadpool stars Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool/Wade Wilson, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa Carlysle/Copycat (x/x/x) and T.J. Miller as Jack Hammer/Weasel (x/x/x). The film comes from a script co-written by Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld, Fabian Nicieza, Rhett Reese, and Paul Wernick.

Deadpool an assassin dying of cancer who undergoes a procedure to cure himself, but instead leaves him twisted and scarred, but with superpowers.
