oh, you mean...me? Uhhh, I'm just a simple girl with simple dreams. At the end of it all I just want to look back and say "that was a great ride!" In the meantime, between now and "the end" I just want to have a great time, learn a lot, love more and experience as much as I possibly can.

This list will likely be incomplete for now as I have forgotten much of what I read years ago, but I will add to it as I recall those old favorites. These are in no particular order.

  • The entire Lord of the Rings series by J.R.R. Tolkein (and yes, that includes the hobbit)
  • The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis (no matter which book they put first, it's still a knockout series)
  • Books 1-6 in the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling (I haven't gotten to read the 7th book yet)
  • Eragon and the second book in the series Eldest by Christopher Paolini (I cannot wait to read Brisingr!)
  • Out of the Silent Planet, Perelandra and That Hideous Strength by C.S. Lewis (a wonderful series...I highly recommend it to all)
  • Mama Day by Gloria Naylor
  • The Andromeda Strain by Michael Chrichton
  • Brave New World by Aldous Huxley
  • You Can Farm by Joel F. Salatin (non-fiction, but a great book!)
  • Body for Life by Bill Phillips (again, non-fiction, and no nonsense either!)
  • Silas Marner by George Eliot (keep a dictionary close by for this one!)
  • The Riders of High Rock, The Rustlers of West Fork, The Trail to Seven Pines and Trouble Shooter...the hopalong cassidy novels written by Louis L'Amour under the pen name Tex Burns
  • The Dawn of Fury series by Ralph Compton

That is all for now...I am certain there will be more! Or I may just leave the list at 13 bullets!
