  • Bambi - super cute but i think it's too associated with the movie to work!
  • Beatrice - gorgeous but too close to my name!
  • California - love how clunky it is but not a fan of state names
  • Calla - Super pretty but not sure if I'm the biggest fan for my kids!
  • Fawn(e) - love but lowkey stealing it for myself...
  • Ivory - love this one but I knew an Ivory and don't want to steal her thunder!
  • Oona - i love the meaning but doesn't suit the rest of my style!
  • Petrichor - such a gorgeous word, could be shortened to petra or cora!! don't think it'd work great on a person though
  • Sereia - not the sounds I'd usually go for but I love the meaning, mermaid!

Feminine Middle Names

  • Anne - really cute and literary but can't find a first name i like it with
  • Avelot - found in this thread and I really love the meaning! not sure how usable it is but she's still super cute!
  • Ida - i love the ee-da pronounciation but wouldn't be pn like that here!
  • Lullaby - love the sleepy, dream-like quality but not sure it'd suit a baby!
  • Melusine - such a gorgeous mythology name but i don't know if it could work on a real baby
  • Ponder - can't picture this on my child but super duper cute!
  • Whimsy - its so cute!!

Masculine First Names

  • Dalton - my cousin is named Delton and he was born too recently to use this
  • Fisher - this is the only -er surname-y names i've ever liked, so I don't know if I'd use it. it sounds lovely though!
  • Gable - first saw it here and it's soso cute! very literary (anne of green gables), probably could be usable if it wasn't an architecture term...
  • Gilbert - love this one but it's an elementary school friend's surname so it feels a bit too attached to him, haha
  • Henry - prefer as a nickname for henrietta but don't want to use that name for my daughters
  • Landry - such a cute name but I can only think of the sanrio character! also sounds a bit like laundry (the sanrio character even ran a store called landry's laundry)
  • Marinell - i have no idea how to use this name but it sounds lovely!
  • Ossian - i absolutely love the meaning, little deer, as they're my favorite animal. unfortunately, i don't think the pronunciation is 'intuitive' enough in the usa and would be mistaken for ocean or oss-ee-an
  • Silas - can't see myself using it for my son but it is cute!
  • Wilder - another literary name, this one i don't see on my kids but love the meaning!
