ingredients:
- 12 ounces sweet bean paste (smooth type)
- 12 strawberries
- 1.5 cups shiratamako (glutinous rice flour)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- potato/corn starch
directions:
- spoon 1 oz bean paste into hand and wrap around strawberry
- make mochi: combine shiratamako, 1 cup water, sugar and mix. cover and microwave for 3 min. mix well.
- sprinkle tabletop with starch to avoid sticking and mix mochi before dividing into 12 pieces
- stretch mochi to very thin (1/2 cm thick) round shape and wrap bean strawberry
