ingredients:
- large mac shells
- 1/2 onion
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 cup raw cashews
- 1.5 cups vegetable broth
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 3/4 tsp chili powder
- 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 4 oz can of green chilis
directions:
- soak raw cashews overnight and drain
- boil mac
- saute onion and minced garlic until soft
- add onions, garlic, cashews, 1/2 chilis, nutritional yeast, chili powder, cumin, cornstarch, and vegetable broth into blender
- put sauce into a pot and cook until thickened
- add pasta and remaining 1/2 of chilis
