• Yoshiro (Shiro) is a young adult who was born and raised in a family of high profile vigilantes. In spite of his upbringing and stoic demeanour, Shiro is kind and accommodating in nature and prefers to avoid confrontation at all costs. He is loyal and honours his family's duty towards their community, but often wonders how it would be like to live a normal life.
• He currently lives with his long-time friend Obasi along with two other housemates, but returns to his Iekami home when he is on active duty.

• Shiro was in the midst of a stake out when he was approached by Loraine (Poppy's Mom), who mistook him as the interested applicant for the babysitting job. He was immediately offered the role, and upon not-so thorough consideration, accepts it.
• He shows up to his first day feeling doubtful and apprehensive, but easily accepts his new job after meeting Poppy in person.

• Before Poppy, Shiro works closely with his family in their vigilantism, often partnering with his own father Hisao whom he affectionately describes as a 'social justice oddball'.
• Shiro becomes less involved in his family's activities when he began working as a babysitter, though he is still an active member of the Iekami group.
