Muse and Hizashi are practically polar opposites in almost every way, thought the most striking way is through their personalties. Muse is quiet and hesitant, while Hizashi is loud and impulsive. However, it's the opposites that make their relationship work. Hizahsi's own outgoing nature helps Muse feel more confident, energetic, and secure, while Muse's mellowed out nature helps Hizashi calm down, focus, and destress. Their relationship is a carefully crafted balancing act, as they tend to get overwhelmed or restless due to each other's personalities if not kept in check, so their relationship is built upon a lot of mutual understanding and communication. This is especially important during the many rough patches in their relationship where Hizashi tends to go into denial and Muse grows paranoid. Both of them help each other articulate each other's feelings even when they don't understand them themselves.

Like their personalities, their hobbies are vastly different too. Hizashi likes to drink and be the life of the party, while Muse is more content at home, preparing for their podcast or working on miniatures or taking a long hike. Of course, they have a few things in common too. They both have a love for radio, and have their own podcast together called Cool Treble and Crazy Bass, where they talk about their lives as a hero couple. They're also fans of music, retro games, and like to have long discussions about any interesting subject they can possibly think of, from the meaning of life to if snakes could grow legs.

• Though Muse initially found him quite obnoxious, they couldn't help but find themselves somehow attracted to him.
• His company helps Muse accept the reality of their injuries and sudden career change, as they know that they never would have met him otherwise
• Muse is utterly awed by Hizashi and everything about him, from being an amazing pro hero to the fact that even working three jobs doesn't seem to wear him out

HIZASHI'S PERSPECTIVE

• Hizashi has always found Muse cute both for their looks and curious but firm attitude, but after his own personality began to infect Muse with more spontaneous energy he was struck
• Muse's company makes him happy because not only can they keep up with his high energy moments, but even his more somber ones are something that they fully embrace
• Muse's slightly calmer energy and naturally soothing voice brings out a more mellow and patient side of Hizashi, though it's hard for others to tell unless they know him well. Still, Muse's quieter moments sometimes confuse him, as they aren't the sort of person to say what's on their mind unless prompted
