memories:

• i followed the manga canon. 90s anime is not accurate at all to my canon.
• in the golden kingdom, my family were minor monarchs, and i was raised as the heir of our kingdom.
• when endymion was born, my family was expected to be there when he was presented to the kingdom. i was very irritated the whole journey, however when i finally saw him i realised that he was a symbol, and became fascinated by the power he held.
• when i was just younger than 10 years old i was identified as the next kunzite. i was the first of the shitennou to be discovered.
• as i got to know endymion i began to love him for more than just his power. i thought he was a truly wonderful person.
• nephrite was found next. after him, zoisite, and finally jadeite.
• it wasn't easy for us to learn to work together , but our mentors and shared love of endymion eventually brought us together.
• i was closest to zoisite out of all of the shitennou, but our relationship wasn't romantic in nature.
• zoisite was the youngest of the shitennou, but very mature for his age. he was also very intelligent. he was our strategist and even as a child was skilled at the role. despite his matureness, he did sometimes join in with jadeite’s pranks and was very sly. out of all of us, he was the most calculating and could be quite manipulative, but not in a cruel way. he had some issues with self-confidence and despite how often his hunches on things were right, he didn’t like acting without my go ahead.
• zoisite’s magic was based on sound manipulation & he most often used it to create songs that would have different magical effects. one song he played would make lights dance around the room & that was my favourite.
• he had this blade that was weirdly shaped, & moving it through the air would cause different noises. in battle he would use the blade the manipulate sound.
• nephrite was very naive and gullible, but in an endearing sort of way. he was not very good at picking up on social cues and lacked tact. he was also the most mothering out of all of us and was one of the few people able to make me take care of myself. he was also very playful and the most physically strong out of all of us. he was a bit like a human version of a big, hyperactive dog.
• nephrite’s magic was basically seeing into the future. he would ask the stars for guidance, and they would always answer. they were often very vague though and he usually needed help deciphering what they meant. he could also control shadows & turn them into solid beings.
• in fights nephrite wouldn’t really use magic at all, and would instead rely on brute strength. he was an ace at hand-to-hand combat, but was pretty talented with weapons too.
• jadeite was a little shit. he used to play pranks on everyone all of the time & generally acted like a mischievous child. he used to get caught playing pranks a lot & would rely on the rest of us to talk ppl out of punishing him. i mean, he was manipulative enough to get himself out of trouble, but he was just very lazy. he also had huge impulse control problems & did things without thinking all of the time. he had anger issues & was very opinionated & into politics, although not in the same was as 90s anime.
• his magic revolved around the elements. most of the time he’d just use winds to make himself move faster. when he first started practicing that magic he would often overshoot & crash into things, which was pretty hilarious. he could also make miniature creatures out of the earth, but in the golden kingdom that was just like a party trick as he wasn’t strong enough to make them more complex.
• my magic was energy & light manipulation. i could create complex illusions by changing the light, although i couldn’t create anything solid. with my energy manipulation i could send out powerful blasts or drain a target of energy. i was also learning how to give others energy & heal using it
• when endymion started to meet with serenity i knew pretty early on. he was not subtle about it. at all. what’s worse is he probably thought that he was being subtle & secretive.
• i did not approve at all, because general opinion of the moon kingdom was lower than it had ever been before and so i knew that it would only end in tragedy. endymion was stubborn though and didn’t listen to a word i said. he did agree to having me act as a ‘chaperone’ during their meetings, though i think it was only to shut me up.
• eventually venus came to fetch serenity. the first few times she’d just come & drag serenity back to the moon, but eventually she started doing what i was doing with the whole ‘chaperoning’ thing.
• i was very sarcastic & petty around her & basically acted like a shit, but it didn’t seem to offend her. she actually seemed to see it as quite amusing. eventually we started talking & we were both interested in each others cultures, so that’s what we started to share. we ended up becoming quite close, although i’m not sure what the nature of our relationship was yet.
• we used to spar a lot, and more often than not she’d beat me, which i found very impressive.
• i know i met the other senshi, but i wasn’t really close to any of them.
• the other shitennou must have found out about endymion & serenity as well somehow, but i don’t quite remember how.
• beryl was a well-respected magic woman, so when she first approached me about serenity & endymion i wasn’t as concerned as i should have been. she told me that she could sense the magic that serenity had used on endymion, & that endymion had been bewitched by her. i should’ve seen it as the lie that it was, but if beryl was anything, it was good at manipulation.
• eventually she got to all of us shitennou & convinced us that serenity & the moon kingdom was evil & that we had to stand up against it. she told us that she could give us the power to take down the moon kingdom.
• i tried to talk to venus about it, but by then i was too far gone & we ended up having an argument. after that, me & the rest of the shitennou went to beryl & sold our souls to metallia.
• zoisite was the only one of us who was hesitant & not 100% convinced, but he went through with it because he wasn’t confident enough in his own judgement.
• in the final battle nephrite and jupiter killed each other. mercury killed zoisite. jadeite killed mercury. mars killed jadeite. i killed mars. venus killed me.

dark kingdom:

• i was born into a rich family. i was an only child, and my parents were neglectful.
• there was a lot of pressure on me to succeed, and as a result i never had the time to make any friends. i was constantly in clubs, or studying. i was very stressed out all of the time.
• i had a run-in with a youma in a library. i nearly awakened as kunzite while fighting it, but it realised who i was before i had the chance & took me to the dark kingdom, where beryl messed with my golden kingdom memories & awakened me as her general.
• i had a sort of ‘link’ to the rest of the shitennou, and beryl exploited it to track them down & bring them to the dark kingdom too. it took her quite a while (a few years i think?) to track all of them down though.
• i genuinely did care about the other shitennou while in the dark kingdom, but it was even more difficult than normal to show that seeing as we were kind of competing for beryl’s affection.
• i was very upset when the others died & was very much motivated by the thought that the silver crystal would be able to bring them back.

stones:

• the stones were like these little 'rooms’ full of this. really suffocating darkness. idk how to describe it better than that. they were also connected so that we could communicate with each other.
• after the events of the dreams arc, helios linked our stones up to elysian so instead of being trapped in the darkness we could be with him in our old home. it was a very appreciated change.

reincarnation:

• im not sure how, but we were brought back to physical bodies.
• we were seperated & our memories had been mostly erased.
• my parents had died while i was away.
• my memories came back first. after that i found nephrite & informed him of everything. his memories started to return but he told me he didnt believe me and refused to come with me.
• next i found jadeite. his memories returned & he believed me. he agreed to help find zoisite.
• some other stuff went down, too tired to type out the details right now, will later.
• long story short we all ended up joining together & deciding to find endymion.
• i worked out that tuxedo mask must be endymion & assumed the others had too. i kept talking about him & being concerned for his safety & jadeite made a lot of jokes about how i was 'clearly in love with him' & how i should 'stop being so gay for tuxedo mask'
• finally we went to tokyo & met tuxedo mask. before anyone could say a damn thing jadeite comes forwards like 'oh man! you must be so honoured to finally meet your idol! tuxedo mask, sir, you must know that my friend here is really gay for you!' and i had never wanted to whack him more in my life. dramatic reunion ruined by jadeite.
