I am writing to ask about whether I could volunteer at Kumon as I want to gain more experience. I am currently studying maths at International Baccalaureate higher level, although maths is compulsory, I would like to carry on studying maths at university as it is my all-time favourite subject. I have always kept a strong interest in the subject mathematics and have started to develop an interest for economics. Maths has always been a prioritised subject ever since I was little; studying this language at Bexley grammar has made me eager to excel in this area. I enjoy working with the public and I am seeking an opportunity to be part of a team delivering excellent customer service. I want to volunteer at Kumon as I am impressed with the customer satisfaction Kumon provides. I also want to have an opportunity to work with the public. I enjoy helping out others when they are in need. My leadership quality is shown through open evening where I guided families around school. To enhance my leadership skills I believe volunteering at Kumon will allow me to gain confidence when interacting or communicating with others. I have gained experience with children as I go to Chinese school where I could help out with the little children. After the experience of helping people with their Chinese, I enjoy the satisfaction of helping them hence making me more eager to help people with maths. I am very good listener and will follow any advices given. I have the confidence and determinations to work independently, and also work well in a part of a team.
