Dear Mr Frost,

I am interested in the position of being a language prefect for Chinese. I enjoy helping out others when they are in need. Chinese has always been a prioritised subject ever since I was little; studying this language at Bexley grammar has made me eager to excel in this area.

Every week I go to Chinese school where I could help out with the little children. After the experience of helping people with their Chinese, I enjoy the satisfaction of helping them.

I am currently studying Chinese at International Baccalaureate standard level, although a foreign language is compulsory, I would like to carry on studying Chinese at university with maths as I am interested in the foreign exchange programme.

My leadership quality is shown through open evening where I guided families around school. To enhance my leadership skills I believe becoming a Chinese prefect will allow to gain confidence when interacting or communicating with others. I am very good listener and will follow any advices given.

Thank you for reading my application, I hope you will take me in for consideration.

Yours faithfully,

Lisa Ma
