    • Well, I read through the whole thing in a day, so that's at least enough to suggest that I enjoyed my time with it. I like the way Nakatani explores the ways each character experiences, or doesn't experience, love, and how it connects to their selfhood. Each of them were compelling to me. In particular, with a story about discovering love and romance, I'm grateful that there's an aromantic character in its cast. The dynamic between Yuu and Maki, along with how it changes, felt refreshing and earnest. (Bonus points to anything with aro or aro-coded characters, honestly...)
    • The dynamic between our leads is portrayed with care, too, the sudden declaration of love from someone who just met you becoming much more complex as the story progresses. As mentioned before, it's not only about the love itself, but discovering what that means for each person and what it means to be in a romantic relationship with someone else. The drama and conflict that arises doesn't feel thrown in or drawn out to me, either; it seems to suit the story itself. The art was also quite lovely - perhaps some may see it as a more "generic" style, but I think it captured the characters and their environment quite well.
    • Overall, to those interested in sapphic/lesbian manga, and even to those who aren't necessarily looking for it, I think many readers could find something in Bloom Into You to love. It was a great read through and through.
