1 star- This book was the epitome of a painful experience. I probably had to force my way through this and it was a waste of time and energy. Luckily, this rating is a rarity for me as I will not hesitate to put aside a book that I feel is more than likely a bad fit for me.

2 stars- There might have been a few aspects I liked or was intrigued by, but either A) there was either no major hook for me with this story no matter how many times I attempted to connect or b) I was enjoying it early on but the quality took a nosedive by the middle/end and I was left extremely disappointed. This isn't a horrible book per say, but I wouldn't recommend it at all.

3 stars- While I enjoyed my time with this for the most part, I found I really couldn't get that invested. Either A) some aspects were lacking in the plot/characters and I just couldn't connect in the way I hoped to or b) it was a quick, nice, light yet forgettable read. If it's a series, I may continue as there might be some potential for improvement. I don't regret reading this, but it's not a favorite.

3 1/2-4 stars- That was a solid read! There were definitely some issues here but I'd have to say my overall enjoyment of the book won out in the end. If this is a series, I will be continuing for sure as it's blooming with potential. Either way, despite any flaws, I'm glad I hung in there with this one! You might want to check it out.

4-4 1/2 stars- That was a great book! It was such a pleasant experience and for the most part, it lived up to it's potential. However, I do have to say that my emotional connection to the characters/relationships as well as the overall story might not run as deep as some others. That's not to say that I still didn't adore though. While it might not be an 'ultimate' favorite for me, it still has most of the qualities I look for in a fantastic & satisfying read. You should definitely pick this book up soon!

4 1/2-5 stars- That was simply amazing! I loved my time with this book so much it was not only extremely difficult to put down but I developed such a strong attachment to the characters/relationships/overall story, that I was dreading it coming to an end, yet all I could keep doing was flipping the pages (or screen) because I was drawn to it so intensely. An incredibly well-done & truly enthralling read. A forever favorite and highly recommended!

6 stars- My mind is BLOWN. This book was a utter masterpiece from beginning to end and very few books can ever reach this level. After I finished, I felt like I would never recover from the sheer perfection and it was VERY difficult to think about anything else. It honestly felt like this book was tailor made just for me. Ultimately, this was a rare and true gem, and reminds me why reading can be such a moving & memorable experience. You need to go read this one now & let it change your life.
