Welcome to my Media Listography! This is where I (attempt to) keep track of all the media I've engaged with. My primary focus is video games, of course, but I'm also interested in other things, too. You can find said other things under the "ongoing" tab!

I am ALWAYS looking for suggestions! However, this comes with a caveat. I'm not just looking for things that were "good" or "fun". Sometimes I can be in the mood for stuff like that, but usually, when I want media suggestions, I'm looking for something groundbreaking, memorable, or perhaps even life-changing. I know this sounds kind of pretentious, but there's just so much media in this world and I don't have time to engage with all of it, so I want to make sure I at least experience the ones worth seeing! I hope that makes sense.

For the purpose of definition:

  • Played: I have cleared it from start to finish and have experienced every major ending, provided the endings are significantly different. For games that don't necessarily have an ending, I then mean that I have explored basically every major part of the game.
  • Dropped: Any video game where I did not get to the ending and am no longer interested in pursuing, I term "dropped". Conversely, for ongoing serials, such as TV shows and manga, I will simply put in parenthesis the latest installment I experienced (inclusive).
  • Watched: Rather than playing the video game myself, I watched someone else play it (typically non-commentated). If more than 50% of my experience with the game came from watching, I consider it watched rather than played.

Unless otherwise specified, I consider story DLC to be part of the game and therefore generally included when I say I have experienced a game in its entirety. Live service games are categorized separately due to their nature as ongoing works.

Finally, under the "archive" tab, you can find some specific lists that have subjective categories, such as things I personally liked, and some other miscellaneous things.

Thanks for reading, and please feel free to discuss anything on this page with me; I love talking media analysis!
