~Naturally intelligent, charming, sociable and loved by family + peers. Psychopathic.

~Has an intense sense of Justice and once he obtained the notebook, he enacted out his plans, very carefully, to remove the bad people from the world.

~Wants to delete the evil from the world and have only left the people he deems worthy, thus being able to play God.

~Very manipulative and had no problem using others for his personal goals.

~He grew up with a pretty normal family, in Japan; his father, mother and sister.

~His favorite snacks are apples or plain potato chips, depending how he feels.

~He is not a large fan of sweets, but he doesn't mind them sometimes.

~Although some saw him as evil, he saw himself as the true good that this world needed.

RELATIONSHIPS

Misa Amane- Girlfriend, somewhat. While they had been 'together', it was nothing to Light. He saw Misa as a tool, only existing to be of use to him. He did genuinely find her pretty, but annoying and internally cringed at every time he was nice to her. He had no actual time for her, and she 'might as well end up a body in a ditch somewhere'. But due to Misa's Shinigami, he knew he had to be more careful around her.

L Lawliett- L was a fun game to Light, their back and forth was actually something Light looked forward to. L was almost someone Light counted as a friend- almost. He remembers enjoying his time around L, even when being accused of being Kira,because it was fun to him to see just how much he could get away with. He always wanted to learn as much as he could about L, so he could use that information against L whenever he felt necessary to do so. It was a shame to Light when L was finally dead, but he knew it was necessary, and felt as though he won the little game, that seemed to be dragging along for just a bit too long for Light's taste. Light has a fond memory of eating sweets with L while discussing the 'suspicious' deaths.

Teru Mikami- A useful resource Light trusted to temporarily take his place as 'Kira' to clear his own name.

Ryuk- The Shinigami attached to Light's Death Note. Ryuk seemed in support of Light's plans and was the closest Light could count as a friend. Having to constantly obtain apples for Ryuk got a little annoying, but it was a small price to pay for the power of being a God. Light genuinely did not mind having the Death God at his side so constantly.
