RELATIONSHIPS

Daiya Owada: Mondo's older brother who was the leader of The Crazy Diamonds. He was raised by Daiya, and was, quite regrettably the reason for his brother's demise. During a motorcycle race,Mondo got reckless and accidentily swerved in front of a large truck. He was knocked out of the way by Daiya, who took thr blow for him. Daiya died in Mondo's arms, making Mondo promise to not let the gang splut up, and the younger biker was dedicated as he could be to keep that promise for his brother. Mondo blamed himself completely for his brother's demise.

Kiyotaka Isimaru: Taka and Mondo didn't get along at the beginning, and Mondo had actually found the ultimate moral compass to be a nuisance for a while. When they had a competition involving staying in a Sauna for a dangerous amount of time, they both practically gave up together and decided they were now friends. They were good bros up until Mondo's trial, where Taka practically begged for the truth not to be the truth. Mondo felt awful he upset Taka that much, but there was nothing he could do to prevent the inevitable.

Chihiro Fujisaki: Mondo was very close with Chihiro, and trusted him quite a bit. He wanted Chihiro to be able to be happy and live openly as himself without fear of what others might say about it. Killing Chihiro was something Mondo never really got over; he still regrets it. He knew his death was justified when it happened, he should have never done what he did to his good friend. He'd easily have killed for Chihiro, or died for him, had he not chose to take the actions that he had.

Celestia Ludenburg: Unlike the canon, Mondo was quite fond of Celeste. He found her to be fierce and beautiful, and her pull towards gambling attracted him. He flirted with her ocassionally, and wanted to be around her as often as he could without seeminf too suspicious. He would have loved to give her a ride on his motorcycle, had he ever gotten the chance to.
