- Your skin hates you for the amount of stage makeup that covers your skin and body for weeks and weeks at a time.
- You use stage makeup in real life beacause you realize how flawless it looks/how it does not smudge no matter what.
- Instead of paying attention in class, you find yourself writting your lines down in your notes to help you memorize.
- When your script is completely covered in notes, cues and other random markings that only YOU can understand.
- You put parts of yourself into each character.
- And those characters remain with you, always.
- Method acting becomes the norm whenever you're presented with a new character.
- You find comfort in the really bright stage lights.
- You have at least three monologues on hand for an audition.
- You have the utmost respect for techies who, "Do it in the dark".
- You experience acceptance, true acceptance found in no other group of people.
- There's nothing like a theatre family.
- You know that R&J is a bunch of crap and King Lear is where its at.
- You can't stand when people read plays in class without acting them.
