"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, 'The righteous shall live by faith'." - Romans 1:16-17

  • 4: Doctor's appointment, TB test, and then blood draw for Varicella, Vitamin D and CBC tests. I love watching my blood flow from my vein into the tube (sorry if this sounded weird).
  • 6: My supposed last day of work -______-
  • 7: Spent a day in SF with the family for early birthday celebration.
  • 10: Picked up Cloud Atlas again and BOY AM I GLAD I PUSHED THROUGH because the section on Luisa Rey is incredible and David Mitchell is a FANTASTIC WRITER!! I had so many "OMG he DID IT. HE IS SO BRILLIANT" moments omg okay never thought this would be a page turner but it is..
  • 13: Checked up on my second TB test (negative) and got my second Varifax shot. Last day of work. It was super bittersweet, and it almost felt like I was putting aside a part of my life. Sobs I was pretty sentimental as I was aspirating media for the last time and using the plate reader for the last time. Then went to Paris Baguette while dad had his foot appointment. Had an iced latte and the red bean paste filled bread while reading Cloud Atlas. Perfect.
  • 19: Moved into my dorm room~
  • 22: Visited CCAC with some AACF members and really loved it! Awesome company, awesome new friends :)

  • 24: UCLA's annual volunteer day; marched up a mountain and picked up trash. Free In-n-Out at InterVarsity's Welcome BBQ. Egyptian War with awesome floormates at Speed Friending + Games Night!
  • 25: First large group meeting with AACF! 80% sure I've found my fellowship for the next few years!
  • 26: Went to InterVarsity's Large Group Meeting (Catalyst). Worship was super fun and IV was better than what I expected.

  • 28: ALL YOU CAN EAT KBBQ WITH AACF IN K-TOWN, then shaved ice near westwood! Sob I ate way too much and felt really uncomfortable afterwards but it was pretty worth it. Went back to the apartments to play board games and got to try out this super intense, Mafia-esque, indie board game called Avalon and OMG so much deception and mind playing and GAHH it was awesome (even though I suck at it, but fun nevertheless lol)
