- apparently i have an summer assignment that i didn't know about and it's annotating the summer reading book i've chosen, which has a couple of problems. first of all, i choose jane fucking eyre which is not short and i only have a week left and it physically pains me to write on books, especially the nice hard cover copy my mother bought. i could also just read another book, which is a lot shorter, but i would definitely prefer not to read a book about african priests and later write an essay about it. i thought about just pretending i didn't know about the assignment (which i didn't until now) but its twenty five points and a zero would probably be a pretty bad way to start the year. im panicking.
