Yoongi's head is filled with smoke and mud, but Taehyung is something else, something different, something bright and new.
Min Yoongi misses home. Misses Daegu. He doesn’t think that spending time with Kim Taehyung — two years his junior, future opera singer, seems to fit right in with the crowd of their elitist London music conservatory — is going to soothe that feeling.
He’s absolutely wrong.
In late 1700s Joseon Korea, a string of strange murders sends Inspector Kim Seokjin to a frozen northern province. Accompanying him is Min Yoongi, once a scholar of the supernatural, now an indentured laborer until a debt for his crimes against the palace can be paid.
Quickly taking on eccentric artist Kim Taehyung as his assistant, Yoongi sets out to find the monster that’s terrorizing the land. But there’s more to both the icy lakes and the people here. More to Taehyung and his unflinching ease at drawing scenes of death. Yoongi just needs to figure out what.
Historical fantasy with mystery elements. Monster Kim Tae x Supernatural Scholar Yoongi.
Yoongi sees Taehyung. Really sees him.
In the middle of promotions, the group uncovers a trend in Taehyung’s music library’s most played songs: they’re all of Yoongi rapping.
The discovery brings forth another secret that tests the group’s bonds.
Taehyung and Yoongi are living a blissful life after they retire. They struggle to come to terms with Taehyung's sickness.
"He wants to remember them for when he’s in a retirement home so he can tell his nurses just how right it felt to hold Taehyung’s hand right now. He wants to describe in detail how he felt on that Tuesday afternoon spent with Taehyung doing absolutely nothing but listening to his classical music and holding each other."
Taehyung and Yoongi are on a private plane with a huge bathroom. What else are they going to do?
Kim Taehyung is an aspiring music journalist who gets the biggest break of his career when he's assigned to join and cover troubled hip-hop superstar Agust D's world tour.
Taehyung rarely texts Yoongi personally. He’s trying to keep track of Yoongi’s “I love you” message.
The “I’m Fine” choreography — and Yoongi’s hands on Taehyung’s waist — starts getting in the way of that.
Jungkook doesn't know what to do when a stranger comes up to Yoongi and professes his love.
“He said he’s gonna stay in Seoul for a couple of weeks, he’s taking a break from work. He told me to tell you that he could fix your system, if you wanted to.” Yoongi spits the word fix as if having it between his teeth for too long could bite him back. He looks straight into Taehyung’s eyes. Taehyung still can’t understand.
“Namjoon-ssi would–” Taehyung doesn’t finish the sentence because he doesn’t know what’s happening. None of these words make any fucking sense. Everything is purple blood. Yoongi might be about to throw up.
“Namjoon could fix your glitches if you want. Your system would get back to how it was before,” he says once he stops coughing. There’s an unfamiliar scent in the room now. Taehyung decides that’s how flowers probably smelled like.
“Fixed.”
