In which Yoongi doesn't get Halloween.
Taehyung wakes up 500 years in the past and catches feelings for a Joseon prince.
Kim Namjoon knows exactly one thing about Min Yoongi: the dude gets strawberry themed care packages every month.
Jeongguk was more eager to get inside the club, taking long strides to the set of black steel doors. It was the younger’s idea to bring Taehyung to Void. Seoul’s first fetish house, an upscale BDSM parlor that was legally permitted and licensed.
Or the one where Tae's a meek virgin who catches the eye of Void's most popular dom.
Just when Taehyung finds it in himself to be content with living a mundane, powerless life in a world populated by quirk wielders with amazing abilities, he's dragged into one of the largest brawls in history. With only quirk wielders for allies, and quirk wielders for enemies, Taehyung feels lost in a flurry of power, teetering between two sides that fight for valuable causes.
Taehyung will grapple with his perception of good and bad, and his own moral law, while also learning there's more to people than what seems - as well as himself.
It's not Taehyung's name that's written across Yoongi's skin, but he's all Yoongi wants in life.
One seemingly normal Friday morning in Seoul, South Korea, Min Yoongi boards a train with his son in hopes of getting to Busan so the boy can spend his fourth birthday with his mother. Things do not go exactly as planned.
Min Yoongi is an art director with zero tolerance for bullshit, looking for ultimate perfection in everything he creates. Kim Taehyung is the co-owner of a vintage fashion boutique who talks to clothes and learns magic from Tumblr.
It’s a match made in the depths of hell.
[“Taehyung-ah,” Seokjin says, wily and soft, “You’re not scared of meeting Yoongi, are you?” Taehyung knows this is bait. Seokjin knows this is bait. Even Yeontan, running circles around Taehyung now, knows this is bait. His angry brows are very expressive, and right now they’re saying 'don’t take the bait, don’t be a stupid fish.' Taehyung's a stupid fish.]
Yoongi tries so hard to come home. Taehyung is already there.
(Or, to be less dramatic: Taehyung needs someone to play his boyfriend, and Yoongi lets himself get talked into one hell of a ride.)
'KOREA’S SWEETHEART, KIM TAEHYUNG, SPOTTED LEAVING HOTEL WITH UNDERGROUND RAPPER, AGUST D'
“Fuck.” Taehyung whispers, gripping his phone and reading the headline shining through it with his lip tucked between his teeth. Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck. He was fucked.
It’s really unfair the affect Kim Taehyung has on Min Yoongi.
It’s also really fucking unfair that Kim Taehyung is not Min Yoongi’s soulmate.
Former Idol Min Yoongi is struggling to write his next album. He knows he'll never live up to the success of his first solo outing, and the pressure is getting to him. After a series of minor scandals, his manager and best friend Jimin ships him off to Harmony Retreat, an ecotourism resort deep in the Daegu countryside. With electronics strictly forbidden and no company but a rooster, a dog, and his eccentric host Kim Taehyung, Yoongi's not sure how he's going to get through this -- let alone write a hit song.
“I got twelve new comments on that video about Frank Ocean’s new album. They just appeared, like, out of nowhere? It’s kinda weird, right?”
“Were they telling you the album is superior to Channel Orange?”
“You wish. No, they were mostly…” Yoongi pauses, searching for the right words. “Well, about my hands?”
“Huh.” Namjoon stares into the distance, chewing slowly. Then he shrugs and sends Yoongi a wide grin. “Well, your hands are nice, can’t argue there.”
(Or; Taehyung is a YouTuber, Yoongi likes to review albums online, and somewhere between that, they fall in love)
Yoongi had been aware of the shadow for as long as he could remember.
Sometimes he went months without feeling like it was just a few steps behind him or waiting around the next corner. But no matter how long he was able to avoid it, it always came back. Always.
It's 1993, and Yoongi is a music major starting his sophomore year in college. A bunch of stupid dares from his friends aren't supposed to turn his world upside down. Then again, maybe it's not the dares. Maybe it's just Taehyung.
There's something wrong with Min Yoongi's new lab partner that he can't put into words. All he knows is that the kid's box smiles and cheerful words all seem fake and forced. Is he really in a gang like Jimin says? Or is there something more to the cuts and bruises littering his body?
There's something different about Kim Taehyung's lab partner that makes him uneasy. This guy doesn't fall for his fake smiles and sweet words. This guys looks at him like he's seeing right through him, and Taehyung doesn't know if he likes that. Will he find out his secret? Or will Taehyung continue to suffer all alone, like he's always been?
He was ready by the age of fourteen. He used his dying wish to go to fucking Disneyland. He rode a rollercoaster. Saw Eminem live. Held his hand and everything. (It was the night of his life. Hallelujah.) And here he is, five years later, and there’s only one thought in his head: Okay. So now what?
In which Taehyung confesses to Yoongi, and Yoongi has a stubborn, blind disbelief anyone could be romantically attracted to him.
Yoongi is small and angry and 200% done with having feelings; Taehyung is Taehyung; Hoseok harasses Yoongi with petnames and Jimin ships Yoonseok. That's basically it.
Min Yoongi - composer of background music and aspiring artist - might keep odd hours, but he's pretty sure he has the right a good night's - er, morning's sleep without having to listen to his neighbor's annoying little dog bark incessantly. Some people just have no consideration.
Taehyung thinks Yoongi is cute in the fuckable way. Yoongi thinks Taehyung is an asshole.
Disaster witch Kim Taehyung meets perfect senior Min Yoongi in the poison greenhouses of witch school. Years later, Taehyung owns a clinic that fixes hearts, Yoongi has a celebrated apothecary, and they (don't) get along.
Harry Potter-ish, but not in that universe.
Yoongi is a writer whose life is falling apart around him.
Until one day he sees a stranger reading his book and everything changes.
Yoongi works the graveyard shift at a fast food restaurant while trying to make it big. Taehyung has insomnia.
Desperate times call for desperate measures, and Taehyung is not above taking a soul-killing office job solely for the benefits. The drab cubicle he now calls home is bad enough, but his new boss Yoongi is possibly a robot and definitely an asshole. Vision and dental coverage are enticing, but Taehyung's not sure how long he can stick this out.
Everything started with just a kiss and then it wasn't 'just a kiss'. Taehyung found himself in his first serious relationship with the emotionally constipated Yoongi, all the while dealing with his incredibly dense friends and figuring himself out; relationships, family, his future.
Eventually, when you make enough of the wrong decisions in trial and error, you'll find yourself making the right ones.
In the end it's all worth it.
Taehyung starts everything by procrastinating. Even unhealthy crushes on the pizza delivery boy.
Taehyung is too much of a fool to see that he's got Yoongi wrapped around his finger.
When Yoongi is seventeen, he falls in love with Taehyung.
When Yoongi is nineteen, he fucks it up.
When Yoongi is twenty-five, he finally gets to make things right.
Yoongi is a prickly-pink marshmallow, Taehyung is totally intrigued. Taehyung is a Marine Biology major who only does casual sex and one-night stands, but Yoongi doesn't kiss before the third date. They manage to meet in the middle and kind of fall in love.
“Together with their families, Kim Namjoon and Kim Seokjin… Wow, this is formal… Wait,” Hoseok squints at the paper, before looking back at Yoongi with a quizzical look on his face. “They invited you with a guest? But… You’re single, right?”
“Min Yoongi,” Jimin glares at him over the bar, crossing his arms sternly over his chest. “If you’re seeing someone and you didn’t tell us I will kick your ass, so help me god.”
“I’m not dating anyone,” Yoongi sighs, grabbing the invitation and scanning it quickly. The words “with a guest” are underlined and Yoongi can almost see it: the smugness on his brother’s face as he nods with satisfaction, putting the pencil down.
“So what does it mean?”
Yoongi shifts uncomfortably in his seat, avoiding making eye contact.
"I might’ve… invented a boyfriend," he finally mumbles to the glass in front of him.
The last thing Taehyung expected in his last year of college was his roommate's hot older brother.
Taehyung realizes early on in their friendship that it's only a matter of time before Yoongi leaves Daegu.
“Do you think we’re safe here?” Taehyung whispers, adjusting a pillow beneath his head.
Yoongi stares at him through lidded eyes. “We’re not safe anywhere, Tae-ah. Let’s not let our guards down, yeah?”
“But, we can try it out, right?” the thought of leaving this farm to go back out into the hellish world around them does a funny thing to his stomach, makes him feel sick. He wants to stay here. He wants to try and make this situation work.
“Yeah,” Yoongi says quietly as they face one another, their noses inches apart from touching. “Yeah, we can try it out.”
With the promise of a reward, Yoongi volunteers to be part of an experiment that consists of having his body cryogenized. Taehyung is a nurse he meets when he wakes up...fifty years later.
Taehyung is wearing pink pyjamas and a white hoodie when he meets the cutest ghost ever.
When Taehyung returns to the BTS dorm after his impromptu trip to home post-Inkigayo win, Yoongi thinks he has changed. Taehyung no longer seems to be in love with him.
Min Yoongi works as an assassin, known as the 'Revenge Dealer'. He kills without question. Without hesitation. Doesn't like to make things complicated.
When he gets an offer to kill his boyfriend, Kim Taehyung, he realizes things just became way complicated.
There is a white piano in the middle of a park near Yoongi’s house. It is old and dirty, and covered in rainwater most of the time. Someone threw it out a long time ago and nobody bothered to collect it, now the grass and the trees grow around the piano like it’s something precious. Most of the keys are broken and the entire piano is off-key. It sounds like you’re constantly stepping on all of the pedals at the same time.
And then one day, a boy plays it, and Min Yoongi falls in love the way the piano wants him to. With every press of a key.
It's never easy after a breakup; Yoongi's real concern, though, is for his dog, Holly. When Holly doesn't seem to be getting over Yoongi's ex, he takes his friend Namjoon's advice and calls Kim Taehyung, Pet Psychic.
“Please, I don't have scruples about taking anyone's money,” Taehyung says. “I just can’t picture anyone paying so much just to kiss me. We shouldn’t be starting cheek kisses at 15,000 won, who’s going to pay that?”
Yoongi is a traveling salesman circling the same set of weird towns and highways. Taehyung is a gas-station clerk in the middle of nowhere.
"Won’t space be lonely?” Yoongi asks. Taehyung shrugs—Yoongi can feel him move beside him, just a finger-breadth away. “It’s lonely down here too.”
A Tumblr drabble gone wild. Just a gentle dose of soft Taegi for anyone who needs it, I'm just gonna leave it here.
“No, it’s fine,” Taehyung interrupted him, circling his fingers around Jimin’s wrist and squeezing reassuringly. “It’s just a few days, I’ll be okay.”
It was the furthest thing from truth, though. Christmas was always his favorite holiday and in his mind, it was irreversibly connected to home and family and watching silly Christmas movies with a mug of hot chocolate in his hand and his puppy, Yeontan, in his lap. He was hoping that maybe at least one of his friends would be staying in school too, but that hope quickly vanished when he checked the list in the common room and saw no familiar names. Well, he saw one familiar name but it belonged to someone Taehyung had never spoken to, so it didn’t matter anyway.
As if he could read Taehyung’s mind, Jimin spoke up again:
“I noticed that Yoongi is staying at Hogwarts too.”
(Taehyung spends his Christmas at Hogwarts and makes a new friend)
“How drunk was I?” Yoongi asks. “Did I seriously tell you my whole life story before we hooked up?”
“No,” Taehyung giggles. “Silly Min Yoongi. You told me your life story before we got married. Then we fucked. Like a honeymoon, you know?”
Or, Yoongi and Taehyung get drunk married in Las Vegas.
Taehyung and Yoongi meet at the airport, both on the same flight home to Daegu.
Jungkook was the center of Yoongi's world and he wasn't keen on letting just anyone watch the kid. But, desperate times called for desperate measures. He could only hope this time around, Jungkook didn't scare off this babysitter like he had all the previous ones.
taehyung mistakingly calls yoongi babe once and it leads... somewhere unexpected
Taehyung tries to write a million letters to someone he’s never even met.
