In which Yoongi is a gardener, Taehyung is a lil ghost, and there are bones and pianos and flower crowns.

In a world where each person's soul manifests as a mineral, plant, or animal; Yoongi's is a simple rock.

Taehyung's is a mystery, and Yoongi would prefer for it to stay that way.

Kim Taehyung lives a happy existence, free of worry and full of joy, and as a psychology major he definitely knows how rare that is. His biggest concerns are unannounced quizzes, crafting love stories around him out of the raw potential of the human soul, and sparring with his long-time friend and soul-opposite Min Yoongi. It's incredible to him how easily the world falls at his feet, but he'll always use his powers for good.

And college is a time for experiences and new challenges, but when changes appear on his placid horizon, new people and drama and even the potential for his own heart to twist around another person, he wonders if his happiness had always depended on things staying exactly the same.

Taehyung, who exudes an air of expense and confidence, is the last person Yoongi expected to fall in love with, and in turn, be loved by.

Taehyung may have a crush on a certain Professor Min. Just a crush. Seriously, it’s just a crush.

Wherein Yoongi, captain of the local precinct, and Taehyung, fire lieutenant, bump heads on the job and uglies between the sheets.

Yoongi is taking a photography class because it's a required elective. Kim Taehyung is:

1) the best photographer in the class, and

2) The Most Beautiful Person In The Entire World.

Taehyung goes through a break-up and decides to 'cope' with his feelings by going to the cinema each night to watch the same film; Yoongi is a tired cinema employee but somehow manages to put up with Taehyung.

Yoongi just wants to get through the night with his pride intact.

Enter Kim Taehyung.

Or, the one where they used to date and meet again at their ten year high school reunion.

Yoongi might be an arsonist. Taehyung might be in a gang. They are definitely in love.

Taehyung and Yoongi have always been best friends. But when Taehyung's acting career starts taking off, Yoongi can't help but feel a little left behind.

while taehyung is trying to figure out whether or not min yoongi wants to stab him with a fountain pen, they find out they make an excellent team when it comes to board games.

Taehyung wants to learn how to talk dirty. Yoongi, self-proclaimed dirty talk genius, is happy to teach.

Cool drummer kid Taehyung has no business making out with boring pianists like Yoongi. At least that's what he pretends at first.

Taehyung accidentally tries to befriend a vampire.

“Hey, Taehyung?” “Yeah?” “Will you go out with me?” “Christ. This is some dumbass dare, isn’t it?” “Yep.”

This is not just a love story, not really. This is about two people (and, well, five other people) on a journey to understanding why they are, how they are and who they are.

Taehyung is a camboy trying to pay off his student loans.

Yoongi is just a friend who films him. His totally straight friend.

out of all the people min yoongi has dated, kim taehyung has to be the strangest.

Yoongi’s not, like, strictly against spending all of Christmas with his entire friend group locked away in a cottage in the mountains somewhere. It sounds like chaos, really, like a nightmare waiting to happen, but as much as he likes to play hard to get with them, he already knows it could be fun. Will, probably, be fun. To a certain point.

Because things get even messier when it’s not just his five regular best friends coming with him, but also friend number six, also known as (in Yoongi’s head where nobody else can hear it) the Special One.

Taehyung, for all the fuss he makes about writing regularly to Yoongi, sends him cassette tapes instead.

Drunk Taehyung has some very questionable ideas concerning magic and crushes, Yoongi is soft and terrible at flirting, and Jimin does not aprrove of any of this.

Yoongi can't help it that he has a crush on his best friend's little brother.

"Hi, grandma?" Taehyung sighs, "Can you come pick me up from my rap battle? It's over. No, I lost. He saw you drop me off and did a pretty devastating rhyme about it."

“It isn’t always about me, he keeps saying, though he’s talking about the only heart he knows.”

What starts as a friendly way to protect honeypot Taehyung from the worst of boozy clubgoers turns into something else entirely. Forced together when their friend group decides to all date each other, it’s easy to see how Yoongi could fall. What’s harder is convincing himself he has a chance, when it seems Taehyung is already in love with someone else.

Yoongi brings spring and wine and the revels. Taehyung reaps regrets and consequences. They're opposites, and equal halves.

“See you later, Yoongi” He says, and walks out the door. It takes Yoongi a moment to register the kiss that Tae had planted on his cheek before leaving, and by the time he’s registered that yes, Kim Taehyung had kissed his cheek, he’s already late for his lecture.
