- superboooowl! steelers vs. cardinals. (which i'm not watching b/c of the bio paper i have to write.) i bet that danny's gonna be watching bruce springsteen's performance. hahah. juuuust kidding! (but my mom even thought so too!)

- pittsburgh steelers won the superbowl. yaaay. lol tbh idrc. (go acronyms!)
- i practically finished my whole biotechnology paper in one day. yesss. but wow, am i tiiiiired!

- it's groundhog daaay! :D
- free showing of 'groundhog day' at woodstock theater! hahah, OF COURSE. that's where it's taken place in the movie! duhhh.
- 5/13 groundhogs DIDN'T see their shadow, meaning early spring, while 8/13 groundhogs SAW their shadow, meaning six more weeks of winter. it honestly doesn't make a difference anyway.
- whenever taylor has something to say to me she SUDDENLY flails her hands & arms trying to get my attention, but i always end up waiting for her to finish her food or something! lol!
- dylan's imitation of taylor going 'ahhhhh' or something of the like. :'D
- WAHHHHHHHH!
- & five minutes later, after we were 'finished' laughing, taylor ended up only wanting to say, 'i have those movies.' ohwow. (we were talking about the 'bring it on' movies.)
- at cheer practice we were trying to do shoulder stands, so becky & i were partners & we got it perfectly once! but she kept falling down the other couple times.
- sitting in the driver's seat in the car at the jewel parking lot & singing along to tranny & headbanging to lies. the vibration from the bass feels so cool!
- this is really amusing.

- since there was a sub in english & people were still turning in their sophomore schedules for next year, we read half a page of romeo & juliet, led by the students. i ended up being nominated for juliet & meghan s. gave me many compliments saying how I did great. haha. so now i might have to read juliet’s part tmrw too. when we were finished reading we were like, ‘*sarcastically* wow, that took us two minutes.’
- in biology yesterday, taylor acquired a pair of scissors from adam & put them in the cabinet right near our table. so today we looked in the cabinet & SURPRISE! they were still there! i sat & observed the rest of the class as taylor was sawing away at the table w/ the scissors. i was literally cracking up! everyone seemed totally OBLIVIOUS to this loud scraping noise coming from the back of the room! i was like, ‘what the heck? why isn’t anyone reacting?!’ i said that taylor was working in her workshop. lol! y’know, we were just building stuff at the back table & making a lot of noise. nothing big. we also said that we should bring in a saw & drill. *reeeeer*
- after i filled up my water bottle w/ water from the cooler, i went to take a drink & started coughing w/ the water still in my mouth. so i leaned over to make sure the water didn’t get on my clothes, but instead it went back into my throat & through my nose! & it was dripping out too! hahaha!
- & later, i was in bed about to go to bed when i suddenly remembered to wear my rubberband. so i kinda hoped that there wasn't anything on the floor i could trip on. but what do i do? i put one foot over the bed & stepped down on the hamper as i got up & fell right onto my knees. it was a loud THUD! that shook the floor. needless to say, my foot hurt a bit after that.

- except the fact that we got to do dance & tumbling instead of basketball in gym! hahah i can't dance to save my life. & for the tumbling part, i did a couple roundoff flipflops. :D
- um, baked potatoes were delicious as usual.
- the fact that a guy i've never talked to in person would talk to me on the computer & tell me to say hi to him next time i see him. still seems a bit fishy...

- in gym, i did a roundoff flipflop & a couple roundoff backtucks. people came up to me asking how long it took to learn it. hah idk.

- going to sleep last night around 10.30pm & not feeling as tired as i usually am this morning.
- taking a three hr nap.
- i was reading 'dairy queen' when i got cold so i got under the covers & eventually dozed off.
- mom quizzing me on regular food items.
- she was REALLY surprised that i didn't know how much a two-liter of pop was. apparently it's around $0.67-1.50.

- virtual bubble wrap!
- i popped 196 bubbles in 59.2 seconds w/ 92% of manic mode. so that means that i popped 3.31 bubbles per second.

- the day wasn't as bad as i thought it would be w/ a cold.
- not very much hw.
- bought 'love story' on itunes.
- i sat on the stairs w/ my mom & dad just staring out our front window looking at the big, bright moon. it looked lovely. it kinda made you dizzy when you watched the thin clouds/fog rushing by. i tried taking a picture w/ my cell phone later that night, but unfortunately i can't zoom in so it's not that great. you would have had to see the moon in person to get the gist of it.
- went to bed around 10pm.

- i had to write an outline for a couple pages in my history book & a territory called transylvania was mentioned! thinking about it now, i was probably smiling at the book when i noticed it. hehe (:

- two showers in one day. one in the morning & one after i got home from school.

- only geometry, gym, tower, & history.
- we could do WHATEVER in geometry today. i was shocked! it's seriously a once in a lifetime thing to not do any math in that class.
- in gym i was actually playing basketball. i kept shooting hoops & i was pretty impressed w/ myself. although i was pretty toasty b/c i had my cheer warm up on.
- tower, i'm going over to adie's house & dying our hair GREEN.
- hung out w/ kaaaara!
- my mom picked us up & took us to subway. YUM.
- recorded our voices for the 'post your voice' thread on the mcfly boards.
- i bought 'the bird & the worm' on itunes.
- before the basketball game at crystal lake south started, we practiced our quarter routine & i did a roundoff flipflop on the gym floor for the first time! (:
- actually, it was my second time, but the first in eighth grade on parkland's gym floors & injuring myself doesn't count.
- it wasn't as bad tumbling on the hard, gym floor as i thought it would be.
- courtney swallowed a bobby pin. STRANGE, I KNOW. so i simply said, 'have fun digesting THAT!'
- i did my tumbling pass again during a timeout & i apparently almost collided w/ the other school's cheerleaders. i was told that as soon as i started running, six girls right across stepped up to tumble. it's really their fault b/c i already started moving. & from the corner of my eye, i saw something across the gym moving, but i didn't risk looking up & losing my focus.
- & when i finished, i saw my bobby pin fall out of my hair. i was about to pick it up, but i didn't bother. i have plenty anyway. but then as i was walking back to our lines, everyone's faces had worried looks at me, so i asked why everyone was so concerned & they told me how we almost collided.

- it's friday the 13th! oooh. i actually have had good luck today, not bad.
- taylor telling her story about her bus honking for no reason in a neighborhood in the morning & how annoying it was.
- we were going over ch. 9.2 in geometry today when sierra said 'clarissa, you & meghan are softball coaches.' i was confused, but then i saw that on the next page of our notes, my name was mentioned. hehe.
- in gym we played basketball again, but when i joined taylor sitting on the side b/c she didn't want to play anymore, we were so close to getting hit by chris green who was throwing the basketball at the hoop w/ one hand.
- & while we were sitting on the side, something about my braces was mentioned & i was asked when i was getting them off. so i said next month & raahi said that i'm excited b/c then i get to makeout. -sarcastic- hah, totally.
- taylor referring the winter guard as flagettes in biology. needless to say, it cracked me up! i was laughing so hard that i started tearing up.
- & she shouted, 'are there any flagettes in here?!' :')
- then her & chris b. would say 'female dog' & flagette back & forth to each other, so the term, blagette came up; a combination of the two words. LOOOOL.
- later in biology, a bunch of the valley view kids including me would remember mrs. bunting, our gym teacher.
- we said how her megaphone would play little tunes, like the nebraska anthem.
- that she would drive her minivan to the open field when we would run the mile.
- & her hair w/ wheels that she would scoot around in.
- & STILL in biology, when the national anthem was being sung over the announcements, i stood up & started conducting & hopping. hehe.
- came home from school & watched all the blink182 videos on youtube. i love 'em all! hahah.

- chatted w/ my mom about how we don't get good channels & shows on tv & that the british shows are SO much better.
- she said i should write a letter to the bbc.
- & that i should start a website promoting small bands, etc., where i could also let people post reviews on different bands. (if you like, recommended songs, genre.)
- finished more than half of the book, dairy queen.

- i made a couple baskets backwards from the free throw line. yuuup.
- i was pretty impressed w/ myself on how smooth i was when talking about my book in english.
- i had hiccups FOUR times today!
- in biology we had to measure grasshopper legs, kidney beans, & everyone's wrists for our evolution lab.
- taylor DID NOT like the grasshoppers one bit! chris b. took the tweezers, put a grasshopper in taylor's face so she squealed at the top of her lungs & jumped back. it was too funny! & then she took the meter stick (which we used to measure TINY kidney beans; yeah, don't ask me how) to clean the tray of grasshopper juice. (aka preservative liquid.) she pushed the tray all the way into the sink, turned the water on to clean it out, & managed to move the tray out of the sink w/ the meter stick. yeah. THEN to put the ruler away which had grasshopper juice on it, she took the string & tried to wrap it around the ruler to tie it up when mr. brunstrum grabbed it from her. hahah! but instead she grabbed a pencil from someone else's table & tried to take it that way, but that was also taken away from her. it's too difficult to explain in words, you just had to be there. (;

- my history test was pretty easy, but i'm sure i failed my geometry quiz & i was close to failing my biology test.
- taylor saying 'cannibalanimals' in biology b/c she thought it was really funny saying it together.
- we were learning about evolution in biology & how one of the biologists said that animals from different continents can't mate. -pause- well there goes my husband. ;DD

- played ddr in gym & attempted to play a song in hard (in front of a bunch of people), but didn't do very well. i haven't played it in awhile!
- apparently if he has a girl, he's gonna name her middle name, clarissa. haha & i just said that clarissa isn't really middle name material. (haha, first name material though... ?)
- walked on the treadmill about 1.5 miles for an hr & burned roughly 200 calories.
- finally got around to learning how to play that famous riff in 'smoke on the water'. omg, so easy.
- started learning how to play the intro to promises & the main riff in pour some sugar on me.
