• rape/dubious consent (including inebriated sex)
• sex pollen/abo/sex slaves/prostitutes/anything with "forced" sex
• abuse/abusive relationships
• unrequited relationships
• infidelity
• major/minor character death during the narrative
• unhappy endings
• recreational or heavy drug use
• heavy drinking
• angst/hurtfic/darkfic
• power imbalance/large age gaps
• children as the pov
• disability as a plot point
• high fantasy
• historical settings
• first person or second person pov
• pov switching unless it's separated by chapters/parts
