NO CARRYING LOTS OF MONEY OR DEMONSTRATIONS OR HIGH-RISK ACTIVITIES. LOCK DOORS AT ALL TIME. DON'T GO OUT ALONE (ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT).

    • travel in a group (though how this doesn't make one look touristy idek) NO WALKING ALONE. STUDY A MAP BEFOREHAND BUT AVOID BEING A NUB AFTER.

    • be quiet (loud is not good in the uk, and call it the UK--not everything is "england")
    • leave expensive items, don't wear jewelry, be possessive over things that are expensive and be discreet, keep an eye on everything and BE PARANOID, which includes putting a foot through straps of stuff on the ground, keep valuables turned away from the side of the street, carry enough money ONLY for that day's purchases, keep other funds safe, do NOT go alone to get money from an ATM or cash traveler's checks, BE ALERT when getting off buses/trains and when riding escalators (...???), don't exit a taxi until you're sure you're there and you've gotten your exact change, carry just one credit card and photocopies of important documents (divide money in a smart way so that you don't have to pull out a wad of cash--UNDERSTAND FOREIGN CURRENCY)!!!
