• ask professor rosenberg if she's willing to do the human tutorial (when does that clear so that i can select her as the faculty sponsor?)
• write personal statement: it should describe who i am, background and interests, introduce the project and how the project will help me meet my goals. more specifically, it should say why i am pursuing this research, what impact the experience will have on my future career, include research background and how it might have influenced my education. also explain what i've accomplished so far in the field i'm researching, including relevant classes, and how this opportunity will help me realize my goals. and why this topic and why i should receive funding.............. it can essentially elaborate on information included in a resume......
• also a short blurb on career goals + research interests/experience (duration included)
