  • rain jacket: legit the best thing i have ever purchased tbh; great for hiking and going around the city
  • army jacket (?): CALM DOWN you only need one jacket!!

  • fancy dress (black)
  • Very Hot weather dress? (polka dot linen or white cut out back): as a california hot weather dress, the stripe tee dress does very well
  • stripes: tee dress and heavier one almost would have not worn the heavier one were it not for my seriously underdressing at thuc-vy's graduation party
• tops
  • short-sleeve (cotton, linen to prep for return to nyc = denim, all the stripes, all the linen): predictably, i did not need as many as i brought and forced myself to wear the handful i didn't. with the black pants and dark blue jeans i had, one blue linen, the black stripe, the two blue stripes were enough because I CAN DO LAUNDRY! at the place where i was actually wearing these things!)
  • long sleeve (cotton, flannel, stripes = light denim, blue stripe; buffalo; black, navy, navy, and navy): didn't bring the light denim or the navy-predominantly-white stripe, but the predominantly-navy-and-white stripe, black and white stripe, and buffalo flannel got a ton of mileage
  • sweater/cardigan (light grey, comme des garcons, everlane): didn't pack sweater and i didn't really end up using either cardigan; they don't really go with the rain jacket aesthetic and don't layer well over short-sleeves
• bottoms
  • pants (black skinny and culottes): both were amazing decisions 10/10
  • jeans (black, dark blue): only brought dark blue which was enough!!
  • skirts (black): nope
  • shorts (black): i literally only wear shorts to the beach and the tee dress is more than enough
• other
  • lounge (loose black pants? tee, can be same as exercise top): bringing the pants was amazing for lounging around the cruise; could have just brought one exercise shirt
  • pajamas (tank, shorts, shirt, pants)
  • exercise pants and tops and sports bra (one for alaska excursions, one for california hiking heat): i didn't end up even using the exercise shorts in california and it was so cold in alaska that my exercise shirt ended up being my flannel/heat tech and wore the exercise pants like... every day
  • BRAS (black, nude, sports)
  • UNDERWEAR (13): made a good call this time
  • depending on weather: beanie and/or heat tech: should have brought a beanie; heat tech was the BEST

  • socks (ankle and slips): i'm a gross person who wears the same socks at least three times so i don't know why i packed ten pairs
  • aigles: amazing purchase because adequate hiking (i mean, lowkey hiking) and city walking!
