• Jalan Kayu Roti Prata

These pratas are just perfect. the only problem is that one has to eat about 4 to get full up because they are slightly small and very very light. For someone like me who doesn't like curry, these pratas taste awesome just on their own.

  • Pietra Santa (Italian)

The attraction of this place is its ambience. Of course, its food is stellar, but its service really surpasses most other restaurants. The waiters are friendly and helpful, the chairs are comfy, the restaurant is bustly but not noisy, the lights give a soft glow and the whole place, set amongst the greenery of Westbourne Road, is charming.

  • Da paolo

Their chocolate scones are to die for and make a great treat for a weary girl who is staggering home from school having not eaten lunch. The pastry is robust, the chocolate is sweet but not sickly, and the rough texture makes the experience of eating it that much more :). I also recently had the pleasure of trying their apple crumble. which was delicious too, and this is coming from a person who isn't that keen on apple crumble. and its better than my mum's, sad but true.

  • Island creamery

cakes, ice cream and walls covered in photos. in my humble opinion this little shop could sell its ice cream for a fortune. because i can't get enough of it. (i have had my birthday cake from there-a reverso ice cream cake- three years in a row now.)

  • crystal jade

for dim sum (and especially their xiao long bao) this is the premium chinese restaurant. however, i don't really think any pf its other food is exceptional and certainly not worth the prices. EDIT THIS MIRIAM WHEN YOU REMEBER NICER PLACES
