{1} good luck charm: my family. Not a thing, but too important to skip over. The best support system anyone could ask for.

{2} can't leave home without: ipod touch. The reason I'm able to handle delays, public transportation, and errands with grace. Holds my music, Modern Family episodes, e-books, and audio books.

{3} go-to snack: archer farms blue corn chips (with flax seed) and mango salsa. I devour so much of this stuff, it's so bad. Too addicting.

{4} guilty pleasure: my tv (with only basic cable!). I have the television on all the time - when I'm cooking, working on my computer, on the phone (it's on mute), or actually watching a show. The sound is a comfort, and you can inadvertently learn so much haha.

{5} always in my closet: old navy short cowboy boots. I have multiple pairs because I never want to be without them! They go with everything and are unexpectedly waterproof. I've walked through a blizzard wearing these.

{6} must-have gadget: canon powershot s95. I'm an obsessive documenter, and this camera is amazing - a pocket-sized point-and-shoot that has dslr features, including a lens control ring. And strangers always comment on how incredible it does in low light.

{7} always in my purse: covergirl foundation. I use it as concealer, which would be my 'desert island' beauty item lol.

{8} fave item in my home: right now, my homemade holiday decorations!
