• Clean, shower, organize. It's easier to think with a tidy mind when your surroundings are tidy as well.
  • Keep to your schedule, but let yourself sleep in no more than an hour if you must.
  • If you want just one extra piece of chocolate, let yourself have that one extra piece.
  • Tea, hot chocolate, coffee. Warm drinks are a hug for the soul.
  • Allow yourself to just be for a few minutes. Lay silently, let all your senses act separately. Let it all wash over you. Take note of whatever you feel, then come back to reality.
  • Let yourself be silly. Laugh at yourself, verbalize your own inner jokes. They sound a lot funnier out loud, trust me.
  • Your emotions don't want to hurt you, believe it or not. They don't like to be ignored either. Acknowledge them, get to know them, they will guide you.
  • Find a way to tune out that suits you. Whether it's reading a book or drawing, allow yourself time away from everything.
  • For every negative quality you can find in yourself, find two positive qualities.
  • Let yourself be seen, let your love be felt, pour yourself into the world.
  • It's okay to turn elsewhere for help. It's okay to let someone else into your mind when you can't make sense of things yourself. Nobody can fix everything alone.
