- check for hairs in wrong places
- make sure expression is what wanted (push to see if you can get a better look)
- make sure you can see both eyes (and focus on them)
- check for distracting backgrounds
- better to frame carefully than take lots of photos and hope for best
- try to liveview (when you get a better camera body)
