HOLDING THE VIOLIN:

• Racing around (carefully) holding the violin

HOLDING THE BOW:

• Simon Says (up & down, left & right, front & back, windshield)

PARTS OF THE VIOLIN:

• Easter Egg hunt with a picture of a violin cut up and placed inside the eggs... sort of like a puzzle for him to assemble. Though of course, you can put anything inside the eggs.

FINGERINGS:

• Stand beside each other at one end of the room... Name a note that the student should play. If he plays it right, he takes a step. If he plays it wrong, teacher takes a step. Race to the other end of the room.
