Miya Atsumu/Kageyama Tobio (AtsuKage)
note: please mind the tags when you click on the links, some are rated E for explicit.
(color is piss yellow for tsumu's piss-colored hair.)
once Atsumu got to meet the real Kageyama, he never stood a chance. Honestly, he's not that bothered about it.
He waited with eyes shut as Kageyama retraced the steps he took last night, picking up the strewn clothes around the tiny dorm. Miya opened his eyes after Kageyama left the room, knowing that it'll only be one more minute until he left the apartment. He reached out to the empty space that was quickly losing it's warmth, and tried to go back to sleep.
Tobio and Miwa Kageyama come to understand that love strays from the ideals they were raised on, and that they both have a thing for blondes that will drag their family name through the mud, or even worse, have them wind up in hell. Or more simply, a royalty au with way too much religious imagery.
A goody-two shoes, Atsumu had called him to his face. A pathetic waste of talent, Atsumu had called him to his brother. Then he changed; he was good in a new way. He was good in the way that a raw diamond is good. It didn’t need to be cut or altered to be precious, to cut through steel. It demands acknowledgement. It demands respect. He had Atsumu’s attention.
Atsumu is still an idiot in his third year at the Japan youth camp and he kinda, sorta, maybe has a crush on Tobio and kinda, sorta, maybe does something stupid. He also needs to stop telling his brother things
During winter break at Hogwarts, Atsumu finds himself gravitating towards the quiet Keeper he's heard so much about. Friendly competition leads to cuddling sessions, but unfortunately, Tobio doesn't seem to realize he has a crush on him.
It takes Tobio a couple wrong chances before the right one comes swooping by like a shooting star. This time, Tobio jumps for the catch and doesn't let go.
How Atsumu sees Tobio through the years. (or five times atsumu gave something to tobio and the one time tobio gave something to him)
“What the hell are you talking about,” is what Atsumu says when Aran asks him whether he has a crush on a certain setter with dark hair and blue eyes whose name rhymes with Blageyama Wobio. But his ears are red and his nostrils are flaring and he looks like he would rather be ripping out his own hair than be here for one more second which means that he’s lying. He’s never really been good at lying, not to Aran.
Atsumu knows he isn’t perfect.
He knows he makes mistakes.
Mistakes like dialling Tobio’s number, even though he is the one person he shouldn’t call in a state like this.
Sometimes it’s just you, your skateboard and your longing for a certain blue-eyed boy against the universe.
The first time Miya felt it happened was probably during the third year of his high school volleyball career. The blaring light of the tournament battlefield, the deafening cheers and yells of their undying supporters, the all so familiar squeaks of volleyball shoes against the urethane padded floors and the sight of the undefeated champion in the center court, celebrating after winning full sets.
He didn’t think anything of it until Osamu said something. “You’ve got a crush on someone.”
“Shut up.” grumbled Atsumu. Since then it was all he could think about.
Kageyama Tobio has been called many things in his lifetime.
"Uhm, so.. what did you want to talk about?" Kageyama asked uneasily after the long silence between them.
"Anything you want to talk about," Miya answered with a smile.
"Volleyball, then," Kageyama said because it was the first thing that came to his mind and there surely where some things that he could learn from Miya.
But Miya only chuckled once again. "Oh, Tobio-kun, why don't we talk about something a little more fun?"
Tobio would leave for Italy tomorrow. Atsumu was doing a great job not caring, until Shouyou brought up a wild idea that was never going to work.
Demon Atsumu gets summoned by ten year old Kageyama Tobio to revive his pet goldfish.
Kageyama Tobio flew 15 hours to congratulate Miya Atsumu for his birthday.
Atsumu and Kageyama have to pretend to be in love for a higher purpose (gaslighting Sakusa Kiyoomi into getting with Ushijima Wakatoshi). There is only one bed.
Atsumu stares at the boy, tongue running against the base of his teeth as he drinks in the sight before him. An alluring human whose very scent is making his fangs threaten to burst forth. His eyes dip down, and he notices the glint of knives and swords under moonlight; really now, he thought humans were supposed to be clever creatures. Especially pesky little vampire hunters like the one before him.
Even still, he’ll allow himself to indulge a little. After all, it has been a while since he’s sunk his teeth into a meal quite so gorgeous.
In which Atsumu posts way too many pictures of his boyfriend and Tobio, in an attempt to not make it a big deal, turns in into an even bigger deal...
When Tobio said he wanted to see the stars, Atsumu told him his eyes were already full of them.
Tobio and Atsumu make a bet.
About last night...
