This recipe is something I whipped together while craving coconut milk. It's definitely not the best roux, but the textures of the shrimp and pasta were smooth and velvety sweet. You can substitute sweet potatoes and add basil, and spices if this is too sweet for you.

  • Boil angel hair pasta with salt
  • Slice half a brown onion into slivers
  • Recommend marinating shrimp in coconut milk, salt, turmeric, soy sauce.
  • Caramelize onion with garlic clove and knob of butter. You can substitute onion for sweet potatoes.
  • Throw in marinated shrimp and let simmer, add basil leaves or spinach.
  • Add spicy spices.
  • Toss in angel hair pasta.

NOTE: Comes out tasting like should be like a garlic aioli, instead is a coconut tasting shrimp pasta.
