- Mark loves much the way he does everything else, quietly, unthinkingly. He doesn't know when he fell in love with Jackson. He doesn't think it matters much. (This fic was absolutely beautiful.. the right amount of all the emotions you would want while reading a fic)

- “Hey, we should get married.” The bell rings and Mark catches the chains as they fly towards him, bringing the swing to an abrupt stop so Jackson, his best friend and future husband, can safely jump off. “Sure.” (I absolutely love all fics from this author! jflawless<3)

Evidently, it wasn’t like that. After BamBam, the same question was asked by Youngjae, and Yugyeom, Jinyoung and Jaebum. The answer was always the same: “We are not close.”

Though Mark had was human and capable of exploding once in a while, Jackson could only be expected to remain understanding for so long, especially when he was nursing his own problems as well. Unfortunately, things don't always go according to plan and there's always the off chance that one could end up destroying more than they were aware that they could. This wasn't usual for Jackson who tended to absorb, let things pile up and then dissipate with time. Jackson who just so happened to be incapable of being understanding this time around when Mark does something he can't just get over. Jackson who just so happened to be in absolutely no mood to bare his throat for to make everything okay. Jackson who was more than willing to show Mark exactly who he shouldn't be fucking with and why some lines are just not meant to be crossed.

But he never dwells on that too much, because why even trying? It’s too complex. Too painful.

The other one has a sharp mind and a talent for keen observing, but keeps getting stuck inside the trap of over-thinking. One rather unusual chain of events brings these two opposites together and gives them a chance to build something irreplaceable.

- If there would ever be a need to describe Jackson with one word, Mark would choose a word wholehearted. So it wasn't a surprise that same holistic manner applied with Jackson and frustration.
