- happily arranging my lights in a legally roadworthy manner and feeling a bit safer for it
- discovering cycle lanes just when i think "oh god, a junction" or "look at that traffic jam!"
- nevertheless, being naughty and cycling home on the pavement on the wrong side of the road when there's nobody around as it's perfectly safe
- classy waterproofs and high-vis (but not as often as i should)
- people overcautiously overtaking me as wide as possible
- deciding to cycle instead of getting the bus, and not seeing that bus for the whole of the journey
- just about coping with roundabouts, but still getting off and walking sometimes just in case
