• Men In Black 3
    • ★★★★ I really liked it and thought it was even better than the second one. There were lots of funny scenes and I died when I found out that Jemaine Clement was the bad guy.
  • The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey
    • ★★★★½ I really really loved it. I think it was a good adaption, and even though they added stuff from the appendices of The Lord of the Rings, I think they did a good job adding what they did. Some parts were a little too drawn out for me... like when they get caught in the trees by the Warg riders. But overall I thought it was amazing; but now I have to wait a whole year to see more. :(
  • Snatch
    • ★★★ This movie was kind of slow in parts but overall I thought it was pretty good. It was cool seeing Jason Statham not just being serious and boring all the time.
  • Death at a Funeral (2007)
    • ★★★★★ If anyone is going to watch this movie, BE SURE YOU WATCH THE ORIGINAL. I can guarantee you that the British version is a thousand times funnier. Probably one of my favourite new movies.
  • Brave
    • ★★★★ A really unconventional Disney princess! I was mesmerized by her awesome hair the entire time. Such a cute film.
  • ParaNorman
    • ★★★★ Another really good movie. Maybe not for kids... but still really good. The claymation and story was amazing. Also some really hilarious scenes.
  • Prometheus
    • ★★★★½ Personally, I think this was the best Alien movie since Alien. I thought the special effects and landscapes were beautiful and amazing. People are frustrated by the "confusing" plot, but if you do some reading on the film and then watch it, it's really easy to understand. I think it was a great moive.
  • Cabin in the Woods
    • ★★★½ Really unexpected film. Starts out seeming like a typical "college kids go to stay in a cabin then get killed" slasher, but it takes a turn waaay into the unexpected.
  • The Avengers
    • ★★★★★ Best superhero movie ever, in my opinion. I think it trumps The Dark Knight. Maybe not as serious, but more intriguing and uplifting and interesting than the other. I love the interactions between all the characters!
  • Thor
    • ★★★ I felt this movie was somewhat average in comparison to The Avengers. All it felt like was a prequel to the latter. And I know it is suppose to be a prequel, but it just felt weak in that respect to me. It was an enjoyable film though.
  • Insidious
    • ★★½ Really weird movie. I just thought it was going to be about possession but they add a whole other weird level to it. Didn't really like the ending though, it was too predictable.
  • Lost in Translation
    • Only watched part of this. Thought it was kind of slow. Need to watch the rest and maybe my opinion will turn around.
  • Ed Wood
    • Also only watched part, I don't know why though! I really liked what I had seen. Johnny Depp is hilarious and I LOVE Martin Landau as Bela Lugosi. Definitely need to watch the rest.
  • Paranormal Activity 2
    • Pretty much like all the others. The only exciting things happen near the end, and all the rest of it is waiting for something to happen. Also about the same plot, only this one has a baby. Oh well, good film to watch while folding the laundry.
  • How To Train Your Dragon
    • ★★★★½ SO CUTE. WHY HADN'T I SEEN THIS SOONER. I want my own little dragon now.
  • Frankenweenie
    • ★★★★ I am so glad to see Tim Burton returning to claymation. I think it's his most interesting film since Sweeney Todd, to be honest. Also it was cool seeing a whole movie made out of the original short of Frankenweenie. :)
  • The Departed
    • ★★ It took me four watches of this movie to actually understand what the hell was going on. I know it's supposed to be a "modern masterpiece," or whatever, but I thought it was really confusing and hard to follow. Plus I can't STAND Mark Whalberg.
  • The Hunger Games
    • ★★★★ Really didn't expect this movie to be as good as it was. I didn't read the books first and with all the hype, I kind of thought it was just going to be a mushy teen film. But it definitely isn't! Very dramatic and appealing even to adults.
  • Blazing Saddles
    • Okay, so, I finally watched this movie hearing about how funny it was, and it totally wasn't funny at all. A movie that isn't even funny when you're high is a pretty bad sign.
  • Life of Brian
    • ★★★ Now this was a funny movie! I'd only seen Monty Python's Holy Grail before. Life of Brian is just as hilarious. I also loved the song at the end.
  • Young Frankenstein
    • ★★★★ This was a much better Mel Brooks film to watch. Very retardedly funny. So many good quotes too. Gene Wilder was also awesome in it.
  • Caddyshack
    • ★★★★ I don't know why it's taken me so long to see this movie because I love Bill Murray, but I finally saw it! It's as funny as everyone's said it is, but I don't think it's the funniest Bill Murray movie ever.
  • Beavis and Butthead Do America
    • ★★★ Just retarded, as Beavis and Butthead usually is. Haha
  • Jackass
    • ★★★ Disgusting! Yet hilarious.
  • Jackass 3
    • ★★ Double disgusting! My boyfriend and I had to stop watching at the "Sweat Cocktail" sequence... we had to eat dinner at some point.
  • The Grey
    • ★★★½ I watched this movie because I heard that Liam Neeson is a total badass in it, which was true. I enjoyed it despite the fact that the wolves seemed really unrealistically aggressive compared to real-life wolves. Maybe I just don't know about wolves... I think they would generally still be scared even if you were near their den. Oh well, it still makes a good thriller.
