Kyungsoo stifles a yawn behind his hand, eyes squinting for a short moment and a small tear runs down his cheek. He brushes it away with the hand that came up to his the wide opening of his mouth. Blinking a few times his gaze returns from blurry and unfocused to its normal sharpness, still directed at the dark heaven above him, stars blinking back at him.
There is a sound that makes him twitch and the person next to him snicker. He feels a long arm sling around his shoulder, himself getting pulled closer to the warm body next to him and the night sky disappears from his view when he turns his head to press a kiss to the others neck, pulling back and letting his eyes wander over Chanyeol’s features. The other has a relaxed smile on his lips, one of those that Kyungsoo can’t stop to lean in and kiss before settling his head back on a bony shoulder.
This is not his idea of perfect. His idea of perfect involves less insects, most probably four walls to surround them, better lightning but even when he tries to find something really negative about this situation he feels himself unable to when Chanyeol turns to look at him, smile turning into laugh. If it is possible Chanyeol’s voice sounds even better right this moment just between the two of them and no one else to witness the sweet words whispered into his ear.
Another yawn falls from his lips and this time Chanyeol catches him. Soft lips are pressed against his forehead. “Sleep Kyungsoo.” He wants to protest but on the other hand his eyes are already closing, somewhere nearby he hears the noise again but then he can hear Chanyeol saying the name of his cat. Little feet dig into Kyungsoo’s tummy, moving until a by now familiar weight settles on him.
He falls asleep like this moments later.
