Kyungsoo finds him on the couch, a cup of, probably by now ice cold, coffee in front of him, eyes fixed on the TV and one hand running over the soft fur of the cat nuzzled against his leg. Jongdae looks up shortly, smiling gently before turning his head back.

The window is open, carrying the noise form the street into their apartment but it is up high enough for most of it getting lost in the air, carried away by the soft breeze that is making their curtains sway. Walking into the kitchen Kyungsoo finds a used plate, probably the one with the left over from last night.

He picks up an apple and a water bottle, carrying both over into the living room, placing it on the table before shimmying out of his pants, folding them up and placing them on the arm chair. Kyungsoo hasn’t even reached the couch when he hears a noise and turns just in time to see their other cat jump on the chair as well and taking a seat on the garment.

Jongdae starts laughing loudly, earning himself a frown from his boyfriend as Kyungsoo squeezes onto the couch with him. “I don’t know who the bigger ass is. You or Ryan.” He throws another glare towards the by now sleeping feline.

The soft kiss that Jongdae presses against manages to sooth him enough to reach out to pat their other cat. “Has Colin been nice though?” He asks, rubbing it’s head for a moment before sitting up again, catching the expression on Jongdae’s face. “He hasn’t?”

“Not really. They decided it would be good to team up against me and while I was trying to pull one from under the sofa the other decided the table was a way better place to sleep anywhere else.” They look at each other for a moment, Kyungsoo being the first to break the eye contact, head shaking slowly.

“Tell me once again when did we decide that it would be easier to have cats instead of kids?” Kyungsoo sighed moving until his legs were placed on top of Jongdae’s. “Next thing you’re telling me is that you want two more and want to name them Wayne and Drew.” The laugh he gets as an answer is not convincing enough for him and when he looks up he sees the considering sparkle in his boyfriends eyes.
