jackson has always been the kind of person that was loud, buoyant, and likeable. unfortunately, mark met him on a particularly rough day and since then, mark can't bring it upon himself to find jackson to be anything other than annoying but he doesn't have it in him to tell jackson to his face. instead, mark deals with him when it's necessary and ditches him otherwise. at first, jackson, ever the type of person to see the best in people, continued to try and try until one day he couldn't take it anymore and he said something that cut a little too deep for mark to handle; something that jackson wasn't supposed to know in the first place let alone use it against him. from there, it only gets more and more complicated and mark can't help but wonder if it's supposed to get better. (high school au, inappropriate language, angst, anxiety attacks, hints at monophobia. this is so intense).
