• armarouge (the color palette matches, and it reminds me of spain’s medieval past specifically the Crown of castile. The shape of armarouge’s armor also looks like a castle to me, I know its a cannon but at first I thought it was meant to be a castle)
• ceruledge (similar to armarouge but swift fighting style and lighter armor. Reminds me of almogavars that served the many kingdoms of spain. They’re known for their dedication to war and fighting in the front with only light armor and baggage)
• oricorio, baile (the name of the variant is just dance in spanish, and it very much looks like flamenco. The color palette and layered look looks like the typical flamenco dress, and it also has the earrings ? and head accessory dancers also typically wear)
• nacli (salt rock, It’s a pokemon that has existed in paldea since ancient times. Theres also one of the oldest salt valleys in our world which is in Añana of Basque country and is as old as the neolithic period)
• fuecoco (I see some people saying it’s based on piquillo pepper from navarra, also 🙂 In all of its evolution forms it seriously loves to sleep.)
• applin/flapple (catalunya produces the most apples in spain (I didn’t even care about this before but I had to justify the apple part because its cute?) but this is mostly because catalunya has a lot of dragon elements in its culture, mainly seen in barcelona)

I think Spain would just be a normal civilian, maybe those people who sell things at a market?? Retailer, trader, whatever in that area
